Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had booked this restaurant while staying in Fisterra for four days so we were able to walk to the restaurant which is off the beaten track. Only two other tables were booked that evening and it was an extraordinary evening. Everything is based on...Galician ingredients and allmost all dishes were interesting, but what really made the difference was the wine pairing and the presentation of the wines by the sommerlier.More

Excellent! They have real authentic delicious Galician food... and even... coffee the way grandmas used to make it- café de puchero, delicious and not bitter so easy to enjoy without sugar. Could not recommend this place enough. Such a relaxing atmosphere and excellent service. I...was pregnant and they made accomodations so I could enjoy my food. You can order á la carte or from one of their set menus that are 40 or 60 euros per person. Don't miss this place!More

From the moment we entered this austere magical restaurant, it was perfection. The food, the wine and welcome .. Everything was delicious. Wines pairings were amazing. Not a drop of pretence although they deserve to be pretentious. Do not miss this gastronomic opportunity.

O Fragon is a modern restaurant located in a hillside on the outskirts of Fisterra overlooking the ocean. The building is stark both in it’s architecture and interior design. When designing in this manner - the details must be spot on. In this case it...felt a little too severe and some softer elements of design would add some warmth to the overall atmosphere. The restaurant offers a set tasting menu and a la carte with the emphasis on local produce and cooking style. Elements of a modern approach to preparation are present but do not dominate. Service was friendly but could have been improved especially as the restaurant has aspirations to achieve a Michelin star. The food was good but not outstanding. The dishes were authentic and to a degree somewhat rustic. The wines were outstanding and we were able to sample an excellent range of regional wines by the glass. The value for money was excellent - a 3 course meal from the à la carte menu with 3 different wines for 50 euros. I would strongly recommend this restaurant but it is not yet upto Michelin star standards.More

This restaurant is priceless. The fish is simply amazing and the creativity of the menu really deserves at least a Michelin star. Service is spot on and the wines are the best we can find in Galicia. The view is unique. One of the best...restaurant experiences ever. The tasting menu with wine pairing is the best option.More

We spent a wonderful evening at this restaurant on the final day of our 6 day walk along the Lighthouse Way. We chose the tasting menu with the paired local wines which was excellent and terrific value. We finished the evening with a lovely gin...and tonic. The decor is minimalist but it has a great view out onto the bay and the owner could not have been more attentive.More

As oft-mentioned, the view, especially at lunch is spectacular. We had the tasting menu. Every dish was good and a few were amazing. We don't know a lot about Galician wines so the pairings were interesting and informative as well as tasty. And finally, the...price is no higher than the touristy fish houses in town. And the experience, so much better.More

As everyone has been writing, the location is spectacular - in daylight! Be careful - navigation systems like Google Maps seem to try to take cars through the little village rather than round it to the left, which is a LOT easier... We three were...there for a Friday lunch - along with just three other diners. Taking the tasting menu, we found the mainly locally sourced mini-dishes tasty and interesting - but without much of the “wow factor” one hopes for. The matched wine set, on the other hand, was excellent with a very interesting set of local wines and a neat gin and tonic! Volumes were generous enough for my (driving) companions to have an appropriate sample!More

Big delusion! Presented to me as an expression of modern Galician cuisine in a minimalist environment, revealed to be a poorly designed menu served in a cheaply decorated setting. Nice views, but only at lunch time. Definitely not recommended!

Visited twice, once when the mist had descended and yesterday with a clear sky and a superb view from on high. Delighted to see the restaurant full on saturday night. They do deserve it. from other Tripadvisor reviews we opted for the tasting menu with...accompanying wines and enjoyed every bite. The menu is on the webpage but particular mention must go to the lightly battered deep fried scorpionfish which we agreed might have been the most exquisitively beautiful and tasty fish we ever sampled. Another mention must go to the excellent Gin & Tonics at the end of the meal made expertly by the boss himself. Incredible value for money and every morsel delightfulMore

Don't miss a chance to eat here. The building itself is beautiful and the location is fabulous, with views of the bay. It is tricky to find, even in daylight, but well worth the effort. We had the tasting menu for 35 euros and it...was such a treat. Very good value for money. The staff were lovely and explained every dish as it came out. A wonderful afternoon.More

We chose the degustation menu with wines to match each course. The food was all excellent, timely, perfectly cooked and tasty. The wines complimented each course and were all very local to Galicia. We found ourselves the only diners on a Wednesday night so had...the undivided attention of the waiter and maitre’d who were knowledgeable and informative about both wine and food. The building is architecturally stunning and interesting and the views over the bay are wonderful. The whole evening was great value for money and I can highly recommend a visit if you are lucky enough to find yourself in FisterraMore
