Extremely disappointed with our trip to the two Brewers today. We were approached by the landlord in the car park demanding why we were here.. I explained we were here to eat. Once inside the landlord appeared again at our table and was as equally rude, he wouldn't listen as to why I felt he had addressed us rudely and... More

Personally I wouldn't even give this 1 star. Not worth a step through the door food was not home cooked and the ham was like something they just popped to the supermarket to get. The staff are not the most welcoming either. All in all not a nice experience and a waste of money.

Have popped in to this pub over the years for a drink under various management and has always been so-so. Decided to have a family meal as was recommended by a friend but shouldn't have bothered. The pub prides themselves on having no music so people can converse but on entering the building you could hear a pin drop as... More

Abrupt and rude welcome by the owner. We were a group of nine.We had to find our own menus and write are own order and take it to the bar staff who have zero customer service. Food basic and over cooked. Save your money and don't bother. I didn't realise operations like this still existed.

We like the friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced menu, no loud music! My meal was good but too much salt!

I had probably one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. The Cajun chicken tasted of rubber and the texture wasn't any different! I informed the waitress of my disappointment. Yet when I went to discuss payment she and another member of staff were aggressive and in no way apologetic. I refused to pay for the meal it was... More

Had the same issue as most people with this pub. Fairly average food with an very impolite and irate landlord who can't understand that kids make a mess. He aggressively confronted my partner and leaned on her car complaining that we made to much mess. (No bins provided for rubbish either) Luckily for him I left slightly earlier on foot.... More

Visited with friends for an evening meal, quality of food not as good as previous visits. Cajun chicken was rubbery, staff not very welcoming.

Visit here regularly. Not a huge selection of food but we always get the same thing anyway - lasagne and chips! A lovely traditional pub with a nice outdoor area. Very reasonably priced.
