Unfortunately our waitress gave us a lot of attitude and took away my son's milkshake and my wife's half drunken coffee while they were at the play area. We waited 30 mins for 2X takeaway pizzas. It was busy but one would think that reinforcements would be called in during a time where this place knows they will be busy.... More

Every time our family is in the Drakenberg area, we always make an effort to go to the Valley Bakery just to buy their almond tarts and are never disappointed. The buns we had were so fresh and were undeniably delicious.

We always stop at the Valley Bakery for either a brunch or lunch and are never disappointed - food is always great and the kids love the play area. Definitely one of the main attractions in the Champagne Valley - not to be missed.

We are so happy that Valley Bakery is not around the corner from our current house: their attention to detail is fantastic, the croissants are buttery, the biscuits are delectable and the smell enticed us to go back again and again:-)

We stopped here with our 3 boys, ages 12, 9 and 9 to pick up some treats for the road. The cookies, doughnuts and cinnamon buns were fresh and delicious. There is also a nice outdoor eating area and playground for the kids. Sweet spot!

This is a locally owned bakery/restaurant that is surrounded by the wheat fields used to make the flour. Splendid!
