Really enjoyed our lunch at the manifold, the lamb was succulent so was the beef my wife had, great selection of veg and potatoes and good choice of local beers. It was also good being able to take our 2 French bulldog's there, it was the 1st time they'd been in a pub so was feeling a bit wary how... More

Very busy and popular place this. We decided to pop in for a drink and managed to get a table inside and had dinner. Dogs are welcome. The food was great, a 16oz Gammon, that's BIG! With the camp sites near bye this gets very busy, so bide your time.

Good customer services, very helpful when asking for recommendations in the area especially the cleaners ladies. The food seems really fresh and tasty, I had few nibbles, chips and nachos and it was absolutely gorgeous. Would come back when in the area.

We visited this pub twice during our stay in the area. No complaints at all. The first visit was after a walk, at lunchtime, on a Saturday. Although out of season, it was very busy, with all the tables either occupied or reserved. Luckily the weather was warm enough to sit outside. Our sandwiches were very nice! We returned for... More

A relaxed lunch with good food and excellent service. Probably too busy at weekends and high season.

Excellent meal from their extensive menu at a very reasonable price-- couldn't fault anything. We ate in the conservatory as there was a big party in the restaurant and it was perfect for a Spring evening.

Good quality pub/hotel. The Monday steak night was excellent value, 2 ten ounce sirloins and drinks for £25. The room was comfortable and clean and all the staff were helpful and friendly.

This was our first visit to the Peak District and was staying in Wetton so only had a short drive to the pub. It was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was fully booked but we managed to find a table in the bar area which was rather cosy. The food was excellent and the service was really good. Not... We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent, and we struggled to finish it as it was large. The second night we ate from the 'small appetite' menu and we have to say it was equivalent to many normal meals in many pubs. Would certainly recommend this restaurant/pub.
