This is sort of joint that you are looking for. It combines old school charm with a warm welcome and friendly service. You could happily while away time here enjoying life and catching the fresh air. They offer a great coffee in a cafeteria that serves two and a half people. Cakes and related treats are all good. Just enjoy.... More

We visited after a long walk and this was ideal with a great choice of home made cakes and scones. Very friendly and good value.

Lovely little quaint village tea room (as the name would suggest!). Set in a little courtyard, seating in limited so be prepared for a wait/plan b during busier times. Food was good, service was good and the staff were very friendly. Would recommend for afternoon tea.

We visited in a sunny Sunday afternoon to treat our family to an afternoon tea. This place did not disappoint- clearly a walkers favourite stop off point in this walking areas paradise, nestled in the South Downs Way. A cute and quaint - typically British tea rooms, a pretty courtyard where dogs are also welcome. The choice was plentiful of... More

A real tearoom with amazing homemade cakes. Has recently started making hot soups for the winter time. Will be returning.

A truly delightful tearoom with a lovely atmosphere, the cakes are to die for and I was especially pleased to see that they offer gluten free options too- the chocolate is very yummy. We also had a cream tea which was equally as good and even came with real clotted cream! The service was very quick and the staff extremely... More

We stumbled upon this little tea room whilst exploring the village of Amberley in the South Downs. The Cream Tea was to die for, seating was in a very old renovated building, and outside in a small courtyard. It was a truly idyllic setting and a really nice surprise.

We were visiting Amberley on a gloomy September day and were glad to find this excellent little tea room. We both had the scones with jam and cream; jam comes in little kilner jars and the portions of cream are generous. I asked for decaff coffee with hot milk and that was no problem. The building is fascinating – a... More
