It has very short opening times and sells only the very basics, so do not rely on it if you are self catering. Better to shop at Tesco in Camarthen then use the village store to top up with bread and milk etc.

Popped in here during our stay just outside the village. Seems to be the only shop without having to travel to Carmarthen town and it has everything you need from toothpaste to dog food! Friendly staff and very reasonably prices can’t go wrong!

Great little village store doubling up as a coffee shop with snacks and a really good weekend only restaurant - we went twice in a week!

Have been visiting family in Llansteffan for around 30 years & never before have we had such a wonderful breakfast. Freshly cooked to order with excellent service. Very reasonably priced. Just a shame we weren't there long enough to sample their lunches & evening meals.

A lovely bijou cafe. Nothing gourmet but tasty toasted sandwiches and cake. Coffee was a bit watery - but didn't complain.

Make sure you treat yourself to a Village Stores Breakfast when you visit Llansteffan. Giles Coren the restaurant reviewer had a dire breakfast at the wildly expensive Randolph Hotel in Oxford, he should pop to The Village Stores. A quality breakfast in a character room....More

Visited with my boyfriend on the last day of our stay - really wish we'd visited sooner as we'd definitely have gone back for more! Lovely English breakfast, well-cooked & good value.
