It has very short opening times and sells only the very basics, so do not rely on it if you are self catering. Better to shop at Tesco in Camarthen then use the village store to top up with bread and milk etc.
Popped in here during our stay just outside the village.
Seems to be the only shop without having to travel to Carmarthen town and it has everything you need from toothpaste to dog food!
Friendly staff and very reasonably prices can’t go wrong!
Have been visiting family in Llansteffan for around 30 years & never before have we had such a wonderful breakfast. Freshly cooked to order with excellent service. Very reasonably priced. Just a shame we weren't there long enough to sample their lunches & evening meals.
Make sure you treat yourself to a Village Stores Breakfast when you visit Llansteffan. Giles Coren the restaurant reviewer had a dire breakfast at the wildly expensive Randolph Hotel in Oxford, he should pop to The Village Stores.
A quality breakfast in a character room....More
Went for evening meal. Good menu choice everything freshly cooked. My partner asked for her steak rare and it came perfectly done ( not medium as most restaurants) great friendly atmosphere, highly recommended!!
