We ate here 2 nights with possibly 2 different chefs. Monday was better than Sunday. We had risotto with seafood and farfalle with prawns. Both were very good and indicative of the Muggia area. The waitress had to be asked, then told in Italian to bring our drinks. There was a cover charge both nights and our table received no... More

The food was quite average there but the bread was not good at all, seemed packaged not fresh. The fish and clams were fresh however, and the waitress/hostess was very kind and cheerful. Perhaps this was an off-night for cooking and we'd try it another time. The restaurant is small and narrow and too bright, looked like it needed a... More

The owner is a very warm lady who welcomed us like her own children. Been there many times, the food is always fresh and tasty as hell. Highly recommended. Oh, and her favourite colour is violet. It may come handy to you :)

This is a family run place where you'll find a friendly atmosphere and home made delicious food. It's hidden in the alleyways of the old town but easy to find. The women running it are nice and welcoming, ask the meal of the day before going thru the menu, it's the best route to freshness. Portions are large so if... More

Our experience at this Osteria consisted of good food in a simple atmosphere. The dining room is not decorated elaborately, but the cuisine was better than expected. Although on the night we dined we were told that a couple of our initial choices weren't available, the food we eventually were served was tasty and well prepared.

We had a lovely meal in this modest but lovely trattoria. The two women running it couldn't have been nicer. The food was great - fresh, well-cooked, tasty. Highly recommended!
