On the road back from Isle of Skye onward to Loch Ness, this is about the best stop for a coffee, toilette and break from the drive. Our service was good and prompt.

Good pub food with breathtaking view Perfect lunch stop for 2 reasons - It is halfway between Inverness and Craigellachie in Ratagan and has gorgeous mountain views, homey pub decor and ok food with an extensive menu. Service is minimal bur friendly - you place your order at the bar but the food is brought to you.

We were driving from Pitlochry to Skye for our first time and were in need of a stop. We did not eat but had something to drink and a restroom break. The restrooms were being cleaned But are basic not luxurious. We ordered at the bar and the young lady was courteous.

We chanced across this lovely inn on the way to the Isle of Skye from Fort William. There is a good sized car park with great views and a footpath which was great for our dog to get some exercise and amazing views for us. Inside is decorated nicely with pine tables and chairs there is a great menu including... More

We stopped for a break - lovely cakes and tea - on our way up to Skye, and stopped again for a mid morning tea/coffee and scones on our way back. It is conveniently located, and we did not face any of the difficulties in service and cleanliness mentioned by other recent reviewers. Everything was perfectly acceptable to us.

The only place for miles around but would not stop here again. Food ok my haggis, neeps & tatties not quite warm enough. Pricey too for quality. Pub dog kept coming under the table then cocked its led and PEED on my daughters chair!! Totally unacceptable in my opinion. Asked staff member to clean it up- arrived with a mop... More

.....also the most expensive fuel for humans and motor cars that I have seen in Scotland. Two regular coffees and scones (we couldn't get the guy serving to understand what a bun was) cost £9. Took a while to pay as they wouldn't let the non-local workers access to the till and the lady in charge was spending more time... More

Stopped here for a morning coffee on the way back from a work trip. The coffee was good if a bit expensive at £2.95 but the woman serving was very unfriendly, verging on rude. The coffee was slapped down on the table without a wprd and no eye contact. It took a while to track someone down to pay the... More

This was a very welcome place to come across on our journey back from Skye to Falkirk. We felt they were a little under-staffed but the staff were very polite and attentive. The food was excellent and arrived quickly. The toilets were a little sub-standard. Seemed to be a bikers haven.
