It is a place I always visit for lunch with family and visiting guests and it has been excellent as always! The quality of the food is always at its highest quality, the staff are very friendly, and the place is very cosy.

great little place right on the plaza. the food was great and very authentic. We made our own tomato bread, and had a three course meal for 29 euros each. Fabulous way to take a break from visiting wineries.

This authetic spanish restaurant is worth the drive by train from barcelona. Spend the day in the wine country and spend the afternoon here. The food is exquisite and the service better. We tasted everything on the menu and no regrets

It's about the 6th time I visit Cal Xim over a period of 10 years and it never disappointed me. We went there on a Sunday at noon and the owner suggested us a tapa of grilled foie with caramelised apple, amongst other things. By far this was the best foie I ever had and we ordered a second round... More

In the center of the quite and small village of Sant Pau this small restaurant deliver of the best food and wines. I want to mention special the Cava Felix Massana. I missed the ecologic version therefore always excelent cava. This cava is also from the same village. Good with family small events

This is the second time I've been to this restaurant and I have been impressed both times. The detail in each dish is impressive and all sauces are hand made. The ingredients are seasonal and from the region. The staff is all friendly and helpful and the menu (including wine list) is amazing. They have been featured in many publications... More

Very nice food, creative within the Catalan stile, with excellent wines from the area in a terrace of a samall vilage.

We went yesterday. One of the best meals of our lives! The host is incredibly welcoming and proud of this family run restaurant. He has been featured in Wine Spectator and with good reason. We went his recommendations for both our wine and food. Everything from the olive oil to the meat to the veggies and the wine is local.... More
