Went here based on other reviews on TripAdvisor. Place was gorgeous in a very rustic way. Food was overpriced, and if you don't have your own mode of transportation getting there and back will add more. Vegetarian options - a bland pasta.

We watched Whales in the bay below while we were waiting for our meal. No visit to Las Galeras would be complete without a visit to this iconic restaurant.

we enjoyed our dinner at El cabito however since my husband isnt a seafood lover there was nothing on the menu for him too order and therefore we ate dinner while he watched us. There was four of us and the final bill was $120. US(only 3 of us ate) there was a little bit of a language barrier as... More

The only good thing I would say about this restaurant is that the mojitos and wine were good. It was the worst meal we had in the Dominican Republic. I went with my partner and we had chicken as we do not eat seafood- I can't comment on the quality of the seafood as we didn't eat it but the... More

While in Las Galeras everyone talks about El Cabito. It seems like a legend of a place. We heard that reservations are hard to come by, and the fact that it's not easy to get to makes it even more mythical. Get there before sunset, and be ready to take in some of the greatest views from any restaurant in... More

Breathtaking views, a cool ocean breeze and cold refreshing mojitos. I fell in love with my fiancee all over again as we relaxed and experienced the most beautiful sunset. Our dinner was amazing but the beauty and serenity of this cozy little restaurant is what truly stole our hearts. He couldn't have planned a more perfect honeymoon.

Having read all the glorious reviews I was excited to have dinner at El Cabito After experiencing it, I thought the view and setting were absolutely stunning. It would be hard to give this place less then 5 stars if they simply served beer and nuts. That said, while the food was good I wasn't wowed by it. The service... More
