Be prepared for loud music from the flat above the restaurant spoiling your conversation and the staff doing nothing about it when you mention it.

Bad from start to finish. I visited here the last time I lived in Verwood and the food was awful then (5 years ago) Decided to give it a second chance on Friday, surely things would’ve improved by now. Unfortunately not. The popadoms tasted of...really old cooking oil. The onion bhajis had more potato in them than onion and had no seasoning, just utterly bland. I chose a dish that was described as chicken breast stuffed with vegetables…..inside the chicken breast was filled with yet more potato mixed with coriander leaves. The sauce was also very bland. My wife’s dish was chicken piazza (I think). The strips of chicken were dry and completely over cooked and again a very bland sauce. The garlic Naan bread was ok, just, but had clearly been cooked hours beforehand. The desert menu was literally thrown on the table with the waiter already turned around before it stopped moving across the table. It wasn’t that busy with only 4 occupied tables while we were there so no real excuse for such poor food. Maybe I’ll try again in 5 years time but it’s unlikely.More

All the staff is nice and friendly specifically guy name Shahik he is very very nice and friendly person. I would highly recommend this place. I wish and hope they are doing good business.

Good food, good service, reasonable price, nice drinks. I’ve regularly eaten here for a couple of years. It is consistently very good.

Lovely evening with a friend. Nice interior and nice a atmosphere. Good food , simple and well presented. Was my first visit and definitely I ll be back but average service.

The restaurant is really nicely decorated with lovely furniture. There was a couple of very noisy annoying small groups so ambience wasn't good but the restaurant can't help that. The waiters were efficient. Started of well with very good popadoms and dips however all dishes...were bland and lacking any real taste - the curries were the same shade of red despite our orders being totally different and the veg dishes were terrible - this is not authentic Indian food and all of it was completely tasteless. We didn't eat any of it but the staff did not ask why, they simply asked if they could clear the table. Won't be going again and couldn't recommend.More

Very nice meal and very good service. Not very busy in the restaurant on a Monday night as you would expect. Restaurant was clean and there’s easy parking on site. Tikka Masala was very nice, Pasanda not quite as good but still nice. Prawn purée,...Naan and Poppadom’s all good too. Would definitely revisit when next in the area.More

Really great food and atmosphere, helpful waiters. Have been on multiple occasions with friends/ family and have enjoyed every meal.

You honestly can't go wrong with a Spice! Takeaway or eat in it's always superb! Banquet night is still excellent value for money as well.

We were staying just outside Cranborne and looked on the internet, so pleased we found Spice of India, it was the BEST takeaway curry we've ever had it arrived very quickly, was piping hot and the portions were HUGE!, we were there in Lodge 3...for 2 weeks and had a takeaway meal every couple of days as I tried all their different curries even though hubby stuck to his chicken madras, A special thanks to the delivery driver, he was always early and a very nice man with a cheerful smile. I wish we lived nearer so we could enjoy the meals more oftenMore

Went there with friends for a get together. Very mediocre food i.e. chicken passanda and buttered chicken. Drinks order was wrong - once addressed was corrected. There only seemed to be one sitting. Was gobsmacked to find that when we asked for the bill that...the waiter swept the food debris onto the floor. Not recommendedMore

We booked for the banquet with friends our first time back to the spice since 2020 and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the service excellent. The new dividers between tables gives more privacy and safety. Looking forward to booking again.
