Found this pub on a weekend visit to the area. We only wanted a sandwich so ordered the Tuna Melt. It came with a good portion of salad, coleslaw and a big portion of the best homemade chips I have had in a long time. I expected just 2 slices of bread but it was a baguette, warmed to perfection... Originally the better half and I was going to eat over the road at Dog n Duck but since they don't do food on an evening until Easter we thought oh well we'll try The Ship Inn (this was going to be our venue of choice tomorrow evening but brought forward). Well we've come home full to the gills. We... More
We have visited today the beer was perfect and the carvery was excellent the service and waitress was a warm and friendly. Have no hesitation in recommending

We stayed in Bridlington and were looking for a Carvery place. After reading reviews on the very little places that do carvery we decided to head here. We loved the food, tasty and well cooked. Free soup starter as well. Would recommend for a carvery.
What can i say about The Ship in one word excellent. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great choice of beer and excellent quality of food, Very tastey and great value for money. First but definitely not the last visit of the season. Keep up the good work guys
We called into the Ship Inn whilst walking with our dog. Very welcoming pub, with friendly locals. Can't comment on the food as we didn't eat but the cooking smells coming from the kitchen smelt delicious. Reasonably priced drinks and very dog friendly.
