We had spent the morning tramping, the afternoon at the beach, and were ready for some dinner and laughs. We had that. service friendly service, nice atmosphere all round. thank you

Make sure you pull over, stop and have a meal and a refreshing drink or two. The entertainment is something special. The managers Maire and Phil are very welcoming and the Italian Chef makes the best seafood chowder.

we called in a couple of times fro a mid-afternoon beer and snacks which was very pleasant. We also hired canoes which was good fun. The owner and staff were efficient and friendly.

Really friendly staff, and the resident dog also provides a warm welcome. Food was delicious, atmosphere great, a good range of drinks. We were lucky enough to visit when there was a live band.

The Currach Irish Pub & Innkeeper's Lodge is set in a lovely garden setting, across the road from beautiful Pa Beach and Tryphena Harbour. The Currach is Great Barrier's iconic Irish Pub with beautiful authentic bric a brac. The pub offers a delicious menu with a fantastic range of dishes including its world famous Seafood Chowder and fantastic Chef Tasting Platters. We offer locally caught fish and use organic salads and herbs. We have a delicious range of bar snacks or stay for dinner. The Gallery Restaurant is the location for art exhibitions of local artists. The Innkeeper's Lodge has 5 ensuites with balconies. We also have a small backpacker hostel. We look forward to welcoming you to the Currach.
