We would definitely recommend. The food was very nice, I had lasagna and my partner hunters chicken. We both enjoyed the food and the portion sizes was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Excellent service food & dog friendly despite Covid-19

Easy to book. Meal (vegetarian roast) was delicious but huge. (mushrooms in creamy sauce in filo pastry) Very friendly (even disposed of my dog's poo bag for me). Visited during covid-19 felt very safe shame weren't open for lunch times as would have visited more....More

Great Food,friendly staff

Lovely food, good beer and friendly atmosphere. Chef came out to visit with us ate there twice in one weekend.

Friendly, accommodating and great food

Fantastic gem of a place. We invaded with huge groups plus kids and they couldn't have treated us better. Food was amazing, reasonably priced and staff just so friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend

Excellent Food

Found this pub whilst on holiday in the area the food is reasonably priced and very good with large portions. The staff are friendly and welcoming, highly recommend.

Caravan stay nearby

We had a lovely meal here, I had chicken and mushroom pie and Hubby had hunters chicken both delicious. We both had homemade cheesecake for dessert. We may return later in the week.

Fantastic food!!!

Absolutely fantastic food!! Many thanks to Steph the Chef and everyone else who works at the Red Lion for making us so welcome for the last 3 nights on our recent holiday. The diet starts tomorrow!!! Many thanks again we can't rate you highly enough.

Friendly local with good food

Accommodated a large group with hot buffet style food, which was lovely. We were made to feel really welcome, so much in fact that we went back the following evening just for drinks and would recommend to anyone in the area.
