Only stopped for a drink - the pub has been improved since our last visit but the staff are not really friendly like you expect from a village pub.

I haven't been here for a while, but we'll be back soon. I had the roast pork and it was tender and tasty. Lovely roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding and loads of vegetables. Friendly staff and a happy atmosphere in the pub. Highly recommended.
Warm welcome but a very cold draft from the door every few minutes as people came and went, so visit in warmer weather. The food is very nice and the chips fantastic. The burger was filling but the fish dish went better with the side...More
We stopped here tonight, (Friday) on our way home to Bedfordshire. It's a typical village pub, well supported by locals both eating and drinking. A vibrant atmosphere together with a welcoming log fire. Inside the pub it has stone walls and flagstone floors. Quite basic....More
