It is in a special location overlooking the vineyards and the sea in the depths. The food was very tasty and special flavors but their prices "stitched". We separated the saganaki hamster, the mosaic with ozimobuco instead of grinding and the pastisada chicken. They also crawl fruit from their garden at the end! YG: The 1 lt bottle instead of the classic 1.5 lt in bottled water is very little and like a joke for 4 people. Just the cost for a business that will buy many six...

We did the combo wine tasting and dinner here, and it was one of our favorite experiences! We chose this because we had limited time in Santorini and didn't want to spend hours being driven around to different wineries. The wine tasting experience was good - our hostess knew her wines, and s ven provided an additional tasting of a wine that I asked about. Then we walked a sort distance into the restaurant. For the wine/dinner combo price, you are given a 100 Euro allowance for dinner. And the meal was out of this world! We are in our 50s and have traveled to 7 countries. This dinner was one of the top 10 we've ever had! I highly recommend this activity if you are a foodie more than a wine drinker!

When we come here, quality is always assured. The place is fantastic and the food top quality Attentive, impeccable service done with great courtesy. The linguine with meatballs and the risotto with courgettes and cherry tomatoes are delicious. Great choice of wines from their cellar. Prices appropriate to the quality. Thank you very much for the dessert and vin santo at the end of the meal. We will come back soon...

We did the wine tasting/cooking class and it was amazing! We started with a tasting of 4 different wines, with an explanation of each bottle (type of grape, aging process, tasting notes, etc) with some snacks in between. Then, we were escorted to the teaching kitchen where our fantastic chef/instructor taught us to make Greek salad, an appetizer, main dish, side and dessert. He was entertaining, informative and very kind! After completing the instruction portion, we were led to a table in the restaurant and served full portions of all of the dishes we had prepared. The restaurant is beautiful, all of the employees were wonderful and the food was delicious. It was a wonderful experience. Highly, highly recommend!

Our reservation for lunch was at 1:30. We arrived right at 12:00 and were pleasantly surprised that the winery was just opening. Me and my wife sat in a beautiful outdoor courtyard dining area, where we sampled several local wines and given what seemed to be just the right amount of information on all of them. This experience lasted about an hour and then we were seated in the restaurant for lunch about 1/2 hour early. We shared their version of the Greek salad and it was amazing. My wife had the lamb risotto and I had the veal We both agreed that this was one of the best meals we have ever eaten. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about our experience here.

Our family of six adults enjoyed the semi-private cooking class and dinner at Aroma Avlis Food and Wine Restaurant in Santorini. It’s a little off the beaten path, but definitely worth the trip for a unique experience, and one of our best experiences in Santorini. The website options were a bit overwhelming with many options to choose from. We selected the semi-private cooking class with dinner and can highly recommend it. It turns out for our group of six, we ended up with a private cooking class. It began with a glass of wine before being escorted through their beautiful grounds to the “kitchen”, which was an attractive spacious area with views of their gardens, and a perfect set up for cooking and learning together. Everyone we met there was helpful, friendly, enthusiastic and very family oriented, in particular, our chef Chris and his assistant Philip. Chris engaged everyone and made sure everyone was included in helping. The pace was just right, relaxed, there was wine to drink, and pleasant conversation. We made a Santorini Greek salad, tomato fritters (a local specialty), Santorini fava bean appetizer, pork medallions in a Vinsanto wine sauce and a unique local dessert. We got to know Chris and appreciate his passion for authentic Greek cooking. After the class and opportunities to taste what we made, we were given all the recipes to take home, and we continued on to the restaurant for more wine, and a delicious dinner that included some of what we made. Overall a great, highly recommended experience that you won’t want to miss while in Santorini.

My wife and I travel quite a bit and we love to do cooking classes and wine tasting in every country we visit. We have done classes in places like Italy and Paris previously, this restaurant put on the absolute best experience we have had so far in all our travels!! Chris, the Chef is absolutely amazing and loves to share his passion for cooking with his guests. Phillip was our host for dinner and was just so down to Earth and friendly that it made for an incredible dinner. George shared his VAST knowledge of wine during our wine tasting and tour of the winery. If you have the chance, I would 1000% recommend Aroma Avlis and the Artemis Karamolegos Winery for an unforgettable evening!!!

Fabulous experience taking a cooking class then having dinner. The class was fun and included a glass of wine. After we were served a full dinner with a bottle of wine in the restaurant-all included in the price of the class- five fresh and expertly prepared courses and twice what we could eat. Service was exceptional and food was excellent, fit for foodies at an extraordinarily reasonable price, and generous portions. A breath of fresh air with all the Santorini tourist rip offs.

Aroma Avlis was a wonderful experience! We booked a group dining and wine tour/tasting for about 35 guests in April. Margarita the restaurant manager was easy to work with and responded so quickly (difficult to get a response from other venues and restaurants during this off-peak time). The staff was friendly and patient with our group, especially being a last-minute reservation. The venue itself is beautiful. We recommend dining upstairs near the wall with greenery and definitely book for a wine tasting! Seeing their cellars was a new and exciting experience for our group..

An excellent spot 5-10 mins taxi outside of Kamari. Food was delicious and a more modern/upscale take on traditional Greek. Cold meze sharing platter was fab and then Santorinian tomato fritters, grilled octopus and grouper to share was delicious. Their vineyard wine was great and well explained. A slightly more pricey meal but well worth it and the view was superb as was the service. Would highly recommend!

Best cooking class in Santorini, for me this was like a hidden gem, never expect this kind of service, cooking class plus wine tasting, who can ask for more, if you love food and wine this is the place to be. The Chef Chrysostomos was an amazing teacher we learn, eat and drink so much, it was a 10 on everything, love to cook with their own ingredients grown on their land. Thank you

We dined here on July 23rd with our friends and it was the best meal we had on Santorini! It is very convenient if you are staying on Kamari Beach but honestly it is well worth the taxi ride if you are staying in Fira. The restaurant is located in a winery and the grounds are just gorgeous. We sat outside on a large patio overlooking the vineyards and the ocean. We were given the choice of wine from their vineyards and they also had other wines available. We chose their wines and they were all delicious. We can highly recommend the wine called 34 - a perfect white wine. From the starters (tomato tart and cheese tray) to the main courses (lamb, mushroom risotto and stuffed zucchini) everything was presented so beautifully and the food was fresh and delicious! The staff were attentive and so nice and at the end of the meal they presented us with two complimentary desserts because it was my husband's birthday. The prices are mid range and such a great value considering the quality, service and location. I can highly recommend this restaurant - you will not be disappointed!

Heard about this from Condé Nast traveller as one of the top restaurants in Santorini and it did not disappoint. We did a wine tasting downstairs before dinner and then had a delicious meal with great service watching the amazing moon rise. It’s a bit out of the way and not a sunset, but well worth it. The food and ambiance was far better than the touristy restaurants looking over the caldera.

I visited Aroma Avlis with my husband and some friends for dinner and had an amazing experience! We ordered a bottle of white wine for the table, which had a lovely flavor profile, and did a tapas style dinner, where we ordered many small plates to get a full experience of the menu. The food was delicious and had a very unique twist on traditional Greek foods, like saganaki, spanakopita, and bougatsa. The service was amazing, with highly knowledgable servers, and the restaurant has a beautiful view of the mountains. If you are going to the beach in Kamari, I highly recommend stopping by Aroma Avlis for dinner!
