We had spent the morning walking along Chetsford Water in beautiful sunshine, knowing the proximity of the Tea Gardens we soon were parking in the NT car park. A family visit with our daughter and grandchildren, and the dog. A very warm welcome and good choices which were kindly modified to suit the children. Service was lovely and the food... More

We visited yesterday, on a very busy sunny day. Unfortunately, it appeared that a member of staff hadn't turned up. We ordered two jacket potatoes and two hot drinks. The drinks took half an hour to arrive, but it was busy. However, the jacket potatoes took an hour and twenty minutes. There was no apology, and no indication when we... More

We went there today as the sun was shining and it was like the middle of summer. Plenty of parking in the NT car park close by. We shared a cream tea and it was delicious. We live in Devon, the hub of the British cream tea industry, and I think I can say the scones are probably the best... More

We have had many cream teas over the years in Somerset but this by far beats them all. Totally delishous, outstanding service, huge scones, gorgeous and ample clotted cream and strawberry jam. Beautiful tea garden with lots of birds to see. Great walks nearby, we will definitely be returning as soon as possible 10 out of 10

We walked the 6 bridges and at the bottom there is this delightful tea rooms. It has outdoor, indoor and covered seating areas. The cakes are excellent and my stepson particularly enjoyed his hot chocolate! The service is friendly and efficient.

Couldn't be more helpful, had a warm fire going on a winter February day. Food was spot on, really welcome and I highly recommend planning this stop for anyone out on the moor. Great service with a smile. :)
