Being somewhat lazy we decided to have a Sunday roast cooked for us. Gamston Lock was just down the road so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The portions were enormous, especially the Yorkshire Puddings. I chose a half roast...More

The started was lovely and the salad supplied with it should have been thrown away two days before I eat there. This also applied to my main course of steak all again beautifully served and yet again the salad should not have been served with...More

Popped in with kids for late lunch. The fish and chips were excellent, the macaroni cheese pretty good and the burgers also. The service was maybe a bit disorganised though as they must have left the curry to go cold while waiting for the rest...More

We had dinner at Gamston Lock. I ordered mac and cheese and my husband had half chicken. The food was served quickly and the portions were generous. Only criticism was that the dessert took ages (about 20 mins) to come. Otherwise, an excellent meal.
