Hi North, Thank you for your review. We are looking forward to welcoming you back again in the future! War regards, Patty Restaurant Bakboord.
On Valentines day we had a special 5 course Valentines menu. It was a great experience in a beautiful and atmospheric restaurant. The courses we're delicious, the service was outstanding.
great lunch, the 3 course surprise menu (we replaced the dessert with an in-between course which was no problem for the team) with winepairing was lovely, flavourful at times surprising and didn't disappoint at all good service and great views completed our lunch
Dear Rolf van der Pol, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are happy to read that you had a wonderful lunch with us! Hope to welcome you soon again. With warm regards, Rianne Steenkamp
Seated at the terrace by the water on a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon, sipping my wine and watching the boats passing by. The ambience was casual, and I felt immediately at home. Surveying the menu (a choice of a la carte or the 3-5 course...Chef's menu), I opted for a 4 course Chef's menu, with the wine pairing as I like to be surprised. No regrets, each course was a vision to behold (see the pics). Starting with a fresh Peruvian cerviche with avocado, corn and Tiger's milk. No worries, no actual tiger was harmed. It is just the name of the citrus marinade. This was followed by an aromatic sweetbread with Jerusalem Artichoke done in different ways. Main course was a chicken with apple, potato, truffle and chicken broth... can you guess where the broth is? Playful! And what joy to finish off with a summer sorbet. Apologies that I did not get all the food description/ ingredients down... I blame it on the wines. Service was great, attentive with the food and wine served at a good pace befitting a lazy Sunday lunch. The restaurant lives up to the Michelin plate, and I dare say, the food is as good as some of the 1-star Michelin restaurants that I had the pleasure of visiting.More

On a whim we decided to go here for our anniversary lunch and were quite pleasantly surprised. We had 2 hours and the 3-course tasting menu was a perfect fit. The staff was very friendly and professional, and the ambiance elegant but relaxing. The food...itself was delicious, really well-done combination of tastes and texture - some things I probably would normally not order à la carte, but nothing too "out there" so that I still enjoyed everything. all in all, a great experience - we will be back!More
What a score! Outstanding experience - we had just left enjoying an incredible Michelin restaurant experience, which is an impossible act to follow... BUT NO! Our experience here was EPIC! Perfect lunch, perfect service. Super friendly and professional staff. Yes. We will be back soon!
From board we shortly made a stop at this Brasserie. Super friendly staff, beautiful ambiance inside and wonderful location. Coffee was great! Recommended to families, friends and business.

Dear BJE, thank you for your kind words! We hope to welcome you back in the nearby future. Warm regards, Kyra van der Meer | Brasserie Bakboord
While closed due to Covid-19, they offer take-away if you order in advance (same day is possible!). Main dish is provided as sous-vide preparation, so it’s warm when you serve it. Same great food as otherwise, service as good as you choose🙂. Really recommended!
We enjoyed a surprise dinner of 5 courses with friends combined with the 'wine arrangement'. The food was indeed surprising in that the dishes were different from the mainstream courses one normally tends to choose. All courses were delicious, well-served and well-presented. Also the wines...were delicious and matched the dishes perfectly. On top of all that the restaurant is cosy, nicely situated next to the waterfront and the service is impeccable. And all this for a very reasonable price! My compliments to the team.More
Took my husband to this restaurant for his birthday. It is a very nice restaurant on a great location on the water at Almere-Haven. Staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was good. With regards to dinner we chose the chefs suggestion menu, where you tell...them what you don’t like and they will surprise you with 6 different courses. I listed the 3 things I don’t like, but I forgot there was a 4th....tofu...I really don’t like tofu but as most restaurants don’t have it in their menus I didn’t expect it. When I was at the second dish with tofu I had to ask if more was coming but luckily enough not. They can’t do anything about me not liking it, although finding the same dominant ingredient in two courses one after another is not much of a surprise for a surprise menu. The rest of the food was nice but the beef strips on the main course were like chewing gum and the dish not very exciting. Apart from that I still score them high as the staff, location and experience were good and we all have a hit and miss every now and then, but it didn’t ruin our night.More
