This one makes me reminisce of ol' Sam's Diner in Quezon Avenue in the Delta area way, way back. 60's themed interior visuals, servers in roller skates. Uncle Sam is - neat, with framed movie posters lining up the walls... Visually OK, but the food is average. Service needs improvement.

I walked all over looking for this restaurant according to google maps and other internet sites. Finally I found an American ex-GI living nearby where Uncle Sam Restaurant was supposed to be. He told me that it went away about six months ago. It no longer exists, so don't try to find it.

Very good American style food choices. Very clean environment, adequate seating, aircon worked very well, large menu.

When I entered this classy looking cafe, I was immediately offered table water. This does not automatically occur. The waitress took my order quickly and noted what I did not want in the Angus burger. The order arrived and no mistakes occurred. The strawberry milkshake was great and generously sized, but the advertised salted caramel flavour was unavailable as were... More

The food was different, nothing like American food to me. They didn't have any Angus beef and the Uncle Sam burger had squeeze cheese instead of slices.

Still looking for a place that will suit your taste buds? Finally,in the heart of the city of Tacloban i found a way to fulfill those cravings in an american way . I was able to taste the mouth-watery menu of another culture which i had only seen in television. That's right, a new taste buddy in town! A place... More

My first time in UNCLE SAM i was shocked with there burger and fries. Service is good, food is delicious and waiting time is understandable like the maximum wait i had since 2013 was more or less 10-15 minutes. Thumb's up guys, more power and keep up the good customer service.

I used to believe that America will always be miles away from my home, Philippines, until I finally tasted Uncle Sam’s Texan Barbecue Back Ribs just here in Tacloban City! I could already smell and find it mouth-watering while I sit and watched for the waitress to serve it for us. Its presentation complements its taste – just perfect! Real... More
