Lovely staff, great view, great wine last, phenomenal meal. We visited the day after we ate at Piazza Duomo in Alba, and preferred Bovio.

We were a group of 7 persons who enjoyed an evening at Bovio with a full tasting menue and nice wines. It was a delight and the firendly, fun and professional service made it a really nice eveing. Some of us are gluten intollerant, but the staff at Bovio had gluten free options and it was a very nice evening... More

Located on the beautiful hills of La Morra (about 1 km before the town, to the right of the road, driving from Alba)., we find the Bovio Restaurant. Great setting, amazing views, delicious food, excellent service, a superb wine list, all in one package! The 6 course tasting menu (plentiful dishes, so come in hungry) is a great value! The VitelloTonatto,... More

A friend recommended this place to us as we were driving through Alba for the day. Luckily we called and managed to nab the last table for lunch. The restaurant is situated on the side of a hill and boasts an amazing panorama with a terrace outside where you can eat too. We were seated indoors and were surrounded by... More

Very nice place with the view. Food was amazing, we had a degustation menu with 3 starters, first, second and desert - all fantastic. Huge wine selection too. Make sure you book and ask for a table with the view. Highly recommended when in La Morra!

Dining in a fancy restaurant l never expect efficiency and swift service. Bovio is an exception. We had a four course meal with coffee in just two hours. The were very particular with my food allergy and picked out some nice wines for us. All in all a pleasant experience.

If there was room for 6 stars Bovio would have got them. The only thing better than the service, location, views, etc. is the food! What a culinary journey. Owning an "Italian" Restaurant In New York my experience at Bovio gave me something to aspire to. Just simply wonderful. We all just fell in Love. Grazie Bovio

Bovi is an elegant but friendly restaurant. The food is excellent and many details enrich the meal. White truffle is of course a must but the menu reveals many other excellent options for any taste. We tried different excellent wines (2008, 2009 and 2011) by the glass, which is perfect if you want to discover the Barolo or Barbaresco wines.... More

We visited in late October, during truffle season, a great experience. The food is superb, the wine card is almost ridiculously big - and the prices are very reasonable for this area.

The Bovio family, one of the oldest families of restaurateurs in Piedmont, already managers of the well-known Ristorante Belvedere of La Morra for more than 40years, has now moved to a new place, in a panoramic position among the vineyards of Barolo. Alessandra, together with her father Gian Bovio, continue the family tradition in the dining room.
