Food and coffee are actually quite good, but I think it's just audacious that if you buy a coffee with a card you pay 50 cents charge, which does make it the most expensive coffee around!! This place definitely doesn't support cashless future!!

Great coffee and plenty of trending plates to have breakfast; even lunch. Don't talk to the ladies that carry the stuff to the table, they bark and even could bite you. Tip: first buy the solid, wait 15' and buy the liquid... they would never understand t you want both at the same time.

Combination cafe and bookstore, such a good combination and rare these days. Food was a bit overdone and salty, and the coffee was pretty average. But with such a wealth of reading material PLUS fabulous second hand books for sale downstairs, it's a winner.

Toast with Vegemite and great coffee. All I need in lyf. Order and pay at counter and choose a seat from one in laneway to tucked into library upstairs. Relaxed cool arty vibe cod across the road from art school. Perfect pit stop if walking from city down oxfordstreet. Let be this place. Authentico!

Basically a cafe and a book shop all rolled into one. Not the first time I've seen this, but books are second hand, and has a much more down to earth feel about it. Wished I lived nearby because I'd always be there.

I can't recommend this cafe enough. Great snacks, coffee and food, and setting amongst the bookcases fit to burst is perfect. If passing on a morning stroll, definitely stop in for a peruse.

If you are in the area, this is a reasonable cafe. I wouldn't specifically travel here for the coffee though. Great atmosphere, good level of seating, good background music. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Really like the menu. Not over-complicated like others close-by. Recommended!

Relaxed People in a hurry go here and are served efficiently but it seems that there are a number drinking the coffee hanging with friends taking it easy. Great meals and snacks; biscuits; filled rolls; etc. apparently all from the kitchen. Used to have that great Allpress coffee now has Ampersand. But the filled rolls are still worth calling in...
