We have been here a few times and it gets better every time, one of the best pies I have eaten and my wife's fish and chips were excellent, bit of a gem.

Called in on spec for lunch and received a lovely welcome from the landlady. Good lunch menu. Very attractive traditional pub with 3 different areas to dine in. We both had their gypsy burger which really was fantastic a real credit to the chef !...More

Always a friendly welcome from the staff and the food is fabulous. I had the beef and wine casserole, a definite winner. My partner had the belly pork, which was also delicious. Well worth a visit

Under new management recently I think. Very friendly staff, very reasonable, lovely atmosphere and possibly the best burger any of us had ever eaten!! The rest of the menu also looked delicious will definitely go back again.
