A welcoming cozy pub. Roaring log fire. Friendly , helpful staff. All food is home cooked and served with a small. Can recommend the locally sourced steak and the home cooked curry of the day. Well recommended.

Lovely fresh food from the Carvery, very friendly and helpful staff. Really busy with a good atmosphere. So pleased we were recommended to eat here, when we eventually found it. will be back on our next visit to the area.
Dogs are welcome in the bar where there are plenty of tables. Large TV which screens fights etc and around the bar are all the locals. The food was good and my only comment would be that the presentation could of been better it lacked finesse.
