I live in ossett and have passed the cafe lots of times. Decided to try it out not disappointed. Had garlic chicken , and rice. A massive portion of freshly cooked food. Delicious definitely will go back.

First time in Ossett to look round the town and me and my daughter popped in here for a coffee. We were served by girl who had a amazing smile while her mum looked on proudly. My daughter asked for the home made coconut cake and as usual my diet starts tomorrow and I had a slice too. I say... More

Had lunch here and loved it. It was a huge portion for the money and a lovely change from the usual options the area offers. The place itself is quite nostalgic and no frills but you go here for the food! And I quite like how it isn't just the same as everywhere else these days. The lady who operates... More

A really nice café with some wholesome sounding food; we only wanted a light meal and decided to share a Catfish stew with some rice and plantain. It was what we needed at the time. I would go again to try some of the more robust dishes, maybe some belly or pulled pork; the spicing was subtle but I get... More

I happened on this cute cafe by chance. I was looking for a takeaway lunch. The menu was broad with many options. I opted for the chicken curry and coconut rice. The food was ready in no time and the food was served with a smile. The portion was large and enough to feed my husband and I for lunch.... More

Lunch for 5 was booked with no high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals. The goat and vegetable curries were both excellent and the accompanying dishes and smoothies made the lunch memorable. We will certainly go again and try more from the menu, but I suggest that you should book your meal ahead so... More

I go to this café at least three times a week. It is very remarkable and reasonably priced and they let me park my motobility scooter outside. ALSO they don't mind if I take a crafty hip flask of scotch in to have with my breakfast.

This place was in our local paper as some people seemed shocked to find a Black woman running a cafe. Anyway we decided to pay it a visit and by god am I glad we did, the food is amazing, my son and I had the banquet which is course after course after course, we couldn't eat it all and... More
