We had a delicious Katsu Don for lunch - fresh, vibrant flavours with delicate pickled vegetables on the side and a wild rice/brown rice which made the meal filling and healthy.

If you want healthy Japanese fusion then this is the place for healthier bento offering; salmon salad with brown rice - may not satisfy those preferring the more traditional bento boxes. Sitting under a Japanese roofed ceiling listening to jazzy type music offers a different ambience. Service was polite & prompt just after 6pm on a midweek night.

i was hankering for a bowl of warm ramen on this cold day and the buckwheat noodle ramen with chicken and duck stock with slices of pork belly and half an egg did not disappoint at all. the stock was rich, dark and smokey. the crispy pork bento box with pork tonkatsu was just as delicious with glutinous red rice,... Great lunch spot if you want healthy, fresh, authentic Japanese food. The little teriyaki sandwiches with chicken, pickles and fresh herbs are to die for!

We tried the banquet and the food was nice, but not outstanding. We were lucky to be seated outside in a private dinning area but unfortunately we were seemingly forgotten but the wait staff and had to wait some time to place our order and felt frustrated at various points having not received any service.

We wanted a Japanese meal on our last night in Melbourne... Scoped the inter webs and found the reviews for Wabi Sabi... looked good. ...and it was, the food was fine, the service also fine, ...everything was fine. But not fantastic. The waitress was friendly - but preoccupied with her friend and phone. Our first drink order was completely mixed... More

Visited last week while down on business. Perfect place to sit outside and watch the world go by. Food was yummy, had the twice cooked pork belly..it really does melt in your mouth also the Yazu lime soda with mint leaves really hit the spot on a very hot Melbourne night. Very reasonable prices

A friend took us here for a quiet dinner. It was the perfect place for catching up with long conversations over cool sake on a warm night. The food and service were wonderful. And they took extra care to make sure the dishes were gluten-free because coeliac. Looking forward to going again.

We wandered past here on a day when it was cold and wet and couldn't help be drawn in my the "duck bone ramen with grilled pork" on their menu (as we'd only ever tried pork bone ramen). It was absolutely amazing - lighter but with more flavour than the pork bone types. Really reasonable price, great atmosphere (quiet enough... More

Tried this restaurant because we wanted somethings g different, service was very quick, food fresh and tasty ,would recommend this restaurant but probably better to book as was very popular with many guest being tired away without booking prior.
