Busy Saturday and they still served us politely. Food was great and came out quick despite the fact that it was packed!

Having booked a table for 8pm on Easter Saurday we were delayed by an ambitious detour on our walk in Langdale with no phone signal until some time after 8.15. The restaurant was really friendly and were happy to keep the table until 8.30. Had a great meal - a lovely charcutterie sharing platter and a really unusual mix of... More

Had the most fantastic evening with the staff here. Had gammon - amazing, fish pie to die for, duck was just beautiful and Childrens pizza that was eaten so fast! Clean plates meant dessert and couldn't resist the Sticky Toffee and chocolate brownie which were just fabulous. Thank you to the staff that were warm and friendly from the minute... More

Stopped here on the spur of the moment for a quick spot of lunch. We were looked after amazingly especially as I have food intolerances. The lunch was fantastic and the service brilliant. We will be back.

Very pleasant meal of gigantic proportions. Lamb chops turned out to be four on a bed of dauphinoise potoatoes. \they were also dog friendly in the bar area.

I never put reviews on restaurant. But I feel compelled to review on this restaurant. The food was awful. Starters: Foccacia bread: this bread was old and stale. Salad: old and limp lettuce. Steak: was not very nice. Lamb: over cooked. But the worse bit was the chips: they looked old . It seems they were overheated . Overall An... More

I feel I have to write this review as my last review was rather damning of the treatment from The Wilson Arms , it all started when on a recent visit we had a very dissapointing meal and really poor service, I felt so strongly that I decided to write to the manager outlining the issues which spoilt our visit...
