We hadn't booked a table, but went early for dinner, although they were busy, they managed to fit us in. The food was beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful. The pub had a welcoming open fire, and the restaurant where we ate was lovely, when...More

We came across Wilson’s mid walk during storm Brian - drenched and muddy. The host could not have been more welcoming. We were encouraged to make ourselves comfortable. The lunch menu was tempting and the food was delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly folk! Thank you.

Called for lunch whilst travelling in The Lakes. Warm fire, warm welcome, piping hot water in toilets. Had a drink, a Panini and coffee; just the job to see us on our way.
