Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This restaurent is perfect for a special occasion. We have been lots of times their set menus are fabulous. We went for Valentines day and enjoyed a wonderful French 7 course dinner with a cocktail for 85 Euro each. ( the set menus usually start...at 35 euro each for 3/ 4 courses and amuse bouche). The servers are very friendly and explain each course to you and can accompany wine. The food is Michellin quality. The surroundings are very tasteful and when the weather is good the outside dinning g area is lovely overlooking the lake. You can also have lunch. Perfect for couples/ families and pets are welcome too.More

Visited Moulin twice in one week, it was so amazing the first time we went back for the 5 course menu. Flavour sensations, amazing presentations, lovely setting, great service and value is excellent, really don't know how they do it for the price. Between the...three of us we must have had every dish on the menu. My friends who live in the area have taken multiple family and friends to the restaurant recently and every one had a great time.More

Have spent the last few weeks travelling round French restaurants and this one the most expensive and most disappointing so far. Pleasant position next to the Lake, friendly service but Goats cheese starter with ham melon and salad far too big and like our mains...Belly Pork and a pave of Trout no exciting flavours. The Baba au Rhum was even more disappointing, the Mass of jam like apricot completely overshadowed any normal taste of a Baba, which was miniscule and very unappetising.More

Absolutely stunning food. The setting, the staff, the price, especially the food which is the best we’ve had in twenty years of visiting France. We had the €39 euro menu, very reasonable for the quality of the food.More

Couldn’t really be anything else other than 5 stars…We have walked past on many occasions over the years, while spending the day at the lake and eating simply at the snack bar. We decided yesterday however to ‘upgrade’ and it’s definitely fine dining - we...felt slightly underdressed for the occasion when we arrived ! Service was immaculate - and very friendly. Also despite the level of cuisine our children felt very welcome and the food off the children’s menu was extraordinary - probably some of the best quality I have seen anywhere! The children’s menu even arrived with an amuse bouche and even the ice cream for dessert impressed…My trout was spot on but also all the trimmings - tomato’s, sweet potato etc, tasted delicious. Tarte au citron to finish was exquisite (in both taste and presentation). This all with a lovely view out over the lake. Also, price wise it’s good value for the level of cuisine - there is a 3 course set menu for €33. Would like to go again.More

We came here last Sunday with friends for lunch. This is the fourth time we’ve been here during the past 12 months. Every time we eat here, the food is exceptional. We have brought large groups of friends here and they have all agreed this...is a superb restaurant, which provides a wonderful experience of fabulous food, great service, and a lovely ambiance. In short, the food is prepared and served with great imagination, an amazing blend of ingredients, and memorable texture and taste. We will be back again very soon!More

Went for a special occasion and were, sadly, disappointed. When the menus were offered there was no wine menu - we had to ask (but no-one came back to take our wine order!). Starter came out instantly- but we looked on with envy as other...diners were offered a selection of bread rolls. None came our way, even though we asked! Mains were tasty enough. No-one came over to see if we needed anything- so no opportunity to order wine, ask for more water etc. In the end we decided to cancel our dessert order and get the bill. When asked why we mentioned issues around bread and wine. Were told we should have asked - and said we had. Then got a Gallic shrug and a comment that the restaurant was busy that evening! So a potentially enjoyable evening spoilt by poor service and lack of attention to detail, that you would expect in an establishment of this calibre. PS some tables along the side of the terrace remained in full sun until 8:00pm, so if concerned about this request a table in shade (as most were).More
