It took 25 minutes to pay for our food as the man behind the bar was so incompetent. He needed me and two other members of my family to help him with working out the order totals. Apparently we were not able to order a medium / rare steak as the chef says that doesn't exist it's either medium or... More

I made a telephone reservation for 10 people midweek; however, when I realised when I arrived that it was not really necessary because there was plenty of room. Essentially, the food was no frills basic pub fare, was reasonably priced and there was no cause for complaint; however, it was a bit different when it came to the drinks. 2... More

Proper pub/restaurant combo premises. With parking and family safe garden. Comprehensive menu at very competitive prices. Staff are friendly and helpful with a cheeky glint in their eye. Good music with friendly atmosphere. We will be back. :-)

We have been visiting the horseshoe for many years and very disappointed to have the live bands cancelled. Friday, Saturday and Sunday eve! Food is also very disappointing, we had a combo to share for £7.50, definitely not worth the money, such a shame was always a nice pub seems to be going to rack and ruin.

Looks great since the re-furb , great for a few drinks. We enjoy visiting when they have live bands on, always has a good atmosphere then. Love the fact they have a separate bar area with darts board. Food quality & portion size average.

We had the Senior Special menu with a group of fellow walkers which was reasonable value. For main course I had the ham, egg and chips and only say the ham was paper thin and wet, please buy better ham! The pudding was the best part, treacle sponge and custard!

Myself and my partner visit this place a lot but generally for a drink. It's not fine dining, it's pub grub and alright for a quick, no-frills, fill. We recently visited with two of my friends children and they had a blast. If you're looking for a quiet drink in the sunshine (I know there's not much of it, both... More
