This lovely bar is by the beach at Ankali, the most popular beach in Folegandros. Margarita and Dennis who run Amoudaki are probably the nicest couple you'll ever meet. The snacks are tasty, the Margarita cocktails are superb and the music is cool and relaxing.

Home made lemon juice, delicious pies, in the discrete sounds of music, the ideal place to enjoy a drink and relax after the beach. The owners are very kind and friendly. We really enjoyed our evenings there!

Stopped for an espresso and ice cream before catching the bus. The relaxed and laid back atmosphere of this charming café took me off my guard...leaving my phone in our beach bag which was apparently stolen from the pocket when I went to the w.c. I thought a small island would be different but Angali is full of tourists...

This place delivers warm hospitality with great tasting food. They put the customer at the heart of what they do and showcase Greek hospitality at its best. The food is fresh, delicious and presented with pride. It's a great place to linger with a book or lots of glasses of wine which helps reflection! The hosts are kind, gracious and... More

Margarita and Dennis were awesome. They both gave us unlimited tips about the island and also on Athens. We had smoothies (delicious and fresh) and bruschetta one afternoon while we were there, and the quality was outstanding. Don't miss it!

Margarita and Dennis serve a lot more than good food and drink at their all-day coffee bar at Agali Beach in Folegandros. With friendly good cheer, they are the ambassadors of warmth for the island and they made our stay memorable with their kindness and inclusiveness.

We stumbled on this place while checking out the various sightseeing spots on Folegandros. A contemporary, almost hippy feel to the place but a genuinely 'sorted' place with lovely owners working hard to make a success of their business. They will succeed because they care. We made several visits during our stay on the island and ate salad with sun... More

Amoudaki is a small coffe/bar/hotel in Elia Beach, Folegandros. Margarita (like the pizza, like the drink) was careful and kind with us. This kind of places and people makes you feel like a guest and not like a customer. I´ll be back soon. I promise!

By far the best place and the best people on the island! We spent many days in & out of Amoudaki and memories are set for ever! The front beach is just amazing and we loved hoping from the spacious and clean Amoudaki apartment just right into the sea. Recommended.

Description
Agali beach is perhaps the most beautiful beach of Folegandros and the ideal place for your vacations in the island. Two spacious and sunny two-bedroom apartments are made with special care and Cycladic style just a few meters from the beach.

Agali is located in the picturesque bay of Vathy (or Agali) in front of the homonymous village located 4 kilometers west of the town, at the center of the western coast of the island. It is a golden sandy beach with calm, cool waters considered by visitors as one of the most beautiful beaches of Folegandros.
The word Agali means "To Hug" and it is quite appropriate, as the huge rocks in the region of the beach appear to be hugging the beach.
From the small pier to the right of the beach, guests can take the speedboat and a few minutes to reach the nearby beaches of Agios Nikolaos and Livadaki.
Also from Agali you can take the footpath and in 15 minutes you can be on the beach Fira, Galyfos and Agios Nikolaos. In Agali there are two taverns and a restaurant where you can enjoy fresh fish and local dishes.

A few words about Folegandros:
The island is an untouched part of Greece with relaxed atmosphere, welcoming and beautiful beaches.
It is the alternative for those wanting a relaxing holiday combining attractions, beautiful beaches and remarkable nightlife. Folegandros three small villages, Karavostasi (the port), Chora, Ano Meria and beach Agali connected by paved roads.
The town is closed to car traffic and motorcycles and has a unique center with three squares in a row. Indeed, it has one of the most impressive views to the Aegean.
You can come to Folegandros either by ship from Piraeus, or by speedboat, during the high-season summer months. The trip takes approximately 6,5hours by conventional ship and approximately 3,5-4 hours by speedboat.
You can also arrive to the island through Santorini where there is a daily boat connection, and has our closest airport. Please note, that there are no banks on the island, however, there are 2 ATMs (automated bank machine), a post office, a local Medical clinic, and a pharmacy.

We shall be happy to assist you with all the necessary information in order to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. We can suggest places you could visit, such as touristic attractions, restaurants and shops, we offer you free map of the island and tips about what to do and see on the island.
We are sure you will enjoy a relaxing holiday and have a great time.
