Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our visit. We ate on the patio and I enjoyed a great conversation with one of the owners discussing the brewery. The deserts were a welcome bonus.

This restaurant is part of a local brewery and the food was very good in that category. Pasta is always great in Tuscany and this is no exception. A mixup with the order saw my meal come after everyone was finished and it was not...good, so they took it off the bill. However the rest of our group of 7 were happy with the meal. Handy if you are in the area as it is on the main road towards Stia and PoppiMore

Arrived mid-afternoon with a large family party when most restaurants were closed but received a most helpful welcome here. All the tables were moved around and the varieties of food produced very quickly. The situation is not attractive but the food is worth stopping for.

We stopped here for dinner as a recommendation from our Airbnb host. They had a large menu with a lot of options. We went with their famous pork which was very delicious. We also had a mushroom pasta dish wish was one of the favorites....Very reasonably priced as well. Highly recommendMore

Atlantic Oil had some of the best pizzas, appetizers, beer, and dessert we had while in Italy (and there really is only good food experiences in this country). We went here with a group of friends, some have been to Italy multiple times before, and...the tiramisu here was claimed to be some of the best in Italy. They also had some of the best appetizer combinations in Tuscany.More

We were recommended to dine here by our host, for an inexpensive meal, and indeed it was full of locals and tourists. We tried the antipasto and two pizzas, which by the end of the night was all a bit too heavy as the property...got very hot (low air conditioning) and noisy with the large number of patrons inside. We enjoyed the antipasto more than the pizza, but don't miss out on the artisanal beers which are very good. We tried the red beer and it disappeared very soon! Old cartoons such as the Roadrunner are projected on the wall without the audio, making for a entertaining time. The service was adequate. Go early if you don't want to park too far away.More

From Piedmont's Langhe to Tuscan's Casentino. A beautiful poem from Cesare Pavese, gives the name to this lovely Tuscan pub. They make their own micro-brewery beers only for on-site consumption. They do nice home-made pasta, lovely mixed Antipasi full of nice local cured meats and...cheeses or vegetarian. What I like there is the Stinco&Solea their ham-shank with their tastier beer Solea. Mandatory to book : it is very popular with the locals.More

The reason for the many positive reviews are probably more a craving for a change of Italian fare of great pastas and wines that this region has to ofger rather than for the quality of this joint. Don't get me wrong, the beer is good...(although nothing to compare with the top micro breweries) and desserts are not bad neither, but it goes downwards from that point. perhaps we should have sticked to safer options, but the stinco(pork shank) as well as chicken were very average. The service was also not great with waitresses forgetting a lot of things including drinks and cutlery. next time, I would stick to a few beers and perhaps some snacks, but definately no meals for me.More

Very trendy and very busy place. Great food at reasonable prices. Have been going here for 9 years as we live nearby. Owners are always super friendly and beer is tasty, especially birra alla ciliegia (cherry beer).

A local place with good pizza, beer and stinko! We have been a number of times but the last time we had a bad waitress and I've not been interested to return. She actually blamed us for HER losing our order. Then she threw a...plate of some fried stuff onto our table saying "I'm a good person, so here!" (obviously said in Italian). As I do not eat fried food, it went unappreciated, along with her attitude. We finally just got up and left....with her chasing after us saying she was a good person. Okay, she is probably a good person, just a horrible waitress! Customer service training is needed.More

We visit Poppi pretty regularly and always make time to visit Atlantic Oil. The place had a real buzz about it, usually bustling with mostly locals which I always think is a great sign. The food is really good and the value is incredible. Don't...miss put if you are in the areaMore
