This is an excellent restaurant to enjoy typical Catalan food. The room is cozy, and as you enter you can smell mouth watering aromas coming from the kitchen. It is difficult to choose but your waiter will guide you in the right direction for your tastes and what is right for the season. Sometimes there are even seasonal specials off... More

This beautiful, authentic, understated restaurant is an absolute Must-Visit! It's off the beaten track and well worth seeking out! Uber friendly front of house and serious culinary skills in the kitchen. We went for the taster menu - we expected "8-10 tapas" but were in fact served the entire menu - plate after plate of wonderful local dishes; we lost... More

We came across this restaurant while doing the volcano walk in the area, not having read any reviews and not knowing what to expect. What a great surprise! The host was charming, and the food was exceptional. Given the high quality of the dishes the cost was very reasonable. If I'm in the area again I won't hesitate to return.

My wife and I spent a couple of nights in Santa Pau. We had read about this restaurant through trip adviser and decided to try it out. We were on our own (summer season had not yet started), I felt uneasy until our host appeared. Sorry do not remember the name but he was an excellent host. The food, some... More

We'd had a good lunch so didn't want too much to eat. We arrived at just before 9pm and were the first guests. My wide and I shared an excellent tomato salad and asparagus dishes. We both continued with entrantes. My wife had fried potatoes sandwiched with butifarra while I had the canelons. No room for postee but we had... More

Just do it, I agree with everything positive said before. The food + service is exceptional. We had dinner on a Saturday night and were surprised with many many many small dishes. Just perfect!

We ate at Masnou with Catalonian friends. The waiter was excellent and helped us in English. He guided us to an excellently balanced meal and our whole afternoon was spent eating lunch.

We enjoyed a delicious light lunch in the garden of Restaurant Masnou at the end of a 10km walk in the 'Santa Pau del volcans' walking trail (route no. 1), a perfect spanish lunch with a cold spanish beer. Selection of tasty Tapas made from local produce, hard to pick which dish was best - very reasonable price. Only pity... More

I recommend going here after doing the 10 km walk around the volcanoes (walk 1). It's right at the end of the track, close to the parking area. The food was simple, delicious and reasonably priced. The garden area is beautiful and pleasant, with shade. We had the garden tasting menu which was about 4 euros per dish. 6 dishes... More

I think the key here is that we asked the waiter to bring whatever he was serving the other locals in the restaurant. It seems there is a menu tasting available daily. It's a family run business that caters to locals and is situated in close proximity to a campground. All that aside, we got a 15 course lunch for... More
