Very handy restaurant by the castle, where there is nothing else. The menu is relatively simple with a lot of pizzas. The very positive point about the place is that they serve lunch very late by the Swiss standard.

Just opposite Chateau de Chillon, this restaurant provides large simple meals (pizza, pasta, salads etc) and good local wine for relatively reasonable prices (considering that all of Montreux is hideously expensive to eat out). It has nice decor and the staff are lovely.

The restaurant is just opposite Chateau de Chillon. The selection of foods is great for family. Their pizza is very nice! Check out the photos, all those dishes I ordered are yummy.

We stayed in a hotel not far away, and arriving on train early evening and a little hungry we decided to eat there. The maddening crowd who visited the chateau were gone and more locals were enjoying the cuisine. (Note - the chef does not start preparing food until 6:30pm/18:30). We had "Salade Melee" which had a great variety of... More

The restaurant is right across the road from Chateau Chillion. This made it easy game for lunch since that is when we arrived. Everything on the menu is the high Swiss food price. We decided to split a pizza and were pleasantly surprised with the quality. I ranked this as a 3 star based solely on the fact that you... More

As you would expect: (almost) the only choice next to the Chateau, this place is terrible. The soups (two different) were inedible so we cancellead all other orders. The waitress was friendly and the quality is not her fault. Of course, prices are high even for Switzerland and definitley not for this qaulity.

We were visiting Cheateau de Chillon and decided to have lunch at Taverne du Chateau de Chillon. We were a bit hesitant as most restaurants near tourist attractions are (generally) not very good but we were surprized by the menu and decided to try it for lunch. The service was quick and the food was quite good.

Just opposite the chillon castle, this restaurant offers delicious food. We had smoked salmon and a special river fish from the Geneva lake and it was awesome. They offer fresh soups and other options that are good for veggies and kids too.

Veal schnitzel was way over cooked. The edge was not edible as it was so hard. The desert was an apple pie which was not bad. Ambience is so-so. Definitely a touristy place. Not worth a visit.

We have been eating at various cafes & restaurants in Zurich, Chur, Tirano, Lugano, Zermatt, Murren, Interlaken & Geneve, this meal is the worst we had! Service were bad, food looks good when served but the pizza was burned, ingredients that they used for the pizza was not fresh and cheap. Absolutely bad experience, don't go!
