A decent pub with fair prices. Dog friendly and in a prime walking location. Its particularly nice if you sit outside.

Used to visit a lot, but has gradually gone downhill, rather uncomfortable, meals take a long time to come, and the prices are high compared to similar restaurants. Food was ok but nothing great, service was also pretty average.

I pop in here after walking various dogs up or around Roseberry, they genuinely welcome dogs and happily provide water and bonios for them. Just good to find somewhere that actually is dog friendly

Good food, real ales, dog / cyclist friendly, great location , friendly staff. Good value and good range of food. Part of a chain but feels like independent country pub, will definitely be back again.

Recently refurbished and sitting beneath the iconic Roseberry Topping – Cleveland’s ‘Matterhorn of the North’ – this charming inn with bedrooms is wrapped around by the North York Moors National Park, the Cleveland Way and is close to Yorkshire’s seaside gems of Staithes, Whitby and Scarborough, The King’s Head Inn is just a short drive from Redcar, Middlesbrough and the Tees Valley, too.

If you’re looking for bedrooms in North Yorkshire then The King’s Head Inn offers bed and breakfast accommodation that’s more characterful and a great alternative to traditional hotel stays and more service than simply self-catering.

A popular spot for walkers and cyclists, you don’t have to have scaled the ‘Topping’ to deserve a well-earned glass of Yorkshire’s finest and the chance to enjoy The King’s Head Inn’s superb home-cooked food.
