Had been looking for somewhere unpretentious to stop for lunch for over an hour. Chanced upon this place and wasn't disappointed. There's a reasonable variety of light meals to be had as well as soup and a good collection of teas. The staff were also very warm and welcoming. The mill itself was also an interesting diversion and we eventually left... More

It was all there, bit complicated, the water was running and turning stuff. Cute to see. Restaurant a bit small and inward looking.

The mill itself wasn't working the day we went but the cafe was open. In a word 'awesome' good food and coffee and they were brilliant with the kids.

Was lovely here, even though the mill was not in operation. Good selection of food and hot drinks. The lady behind the counter was lovely and very helpful

As regular visitors to the Watermill tearoom we were happy to take friends there for an early afternoon snack and drink. Again it did not disappoint. Excellent toasties, sandwiches and baps were quickly prepared and delivered to our table by friendly staff. Compared to a well known establishment not too many miles away, this eatery offers home cooked food at... More

Stopped off today enroute from Inverness to Glasgow with my 2 children. Had been recommended by friends. Was a very small restaurant and queue was quite long at the till. As we hadn't been before, I joined the queue with the kids but had no idea what to order. There were signs with some food dishes listed but the waitress... More

Stopped off for a break travelling between Inverness and Perth (to avoid House of Bruar). Excellent wee place - super scones, nice coffee and friendly service. You can also buy freshly milled flour and other produce. Give it a visit.

Although a bit secluded (of Blair Atholl's main road, just past the railway), the Watermill is located. Passing over the stream which push the Watermill's wheel, and after climbing few stone steps, one enters a cozy tearoom with wooden tables, friendly staff and a warm ambiance. The watermill is active, using the nature's power to grind wheat or oatmeal to... More

Hard to find, not on the main street, took us sometime to find it, with a very small sign on the road. But the little tea room is adorable. Inside the restaurant was rustic and simple, but we sat outside in the garden on a beautiful day and enjoyed it very much. They made their own stone grind oatmeal and... More

Description
A working watermill has been on the site since 1590s. We mill our own flour and oatmeal which we then use in our bakery attached to the mill. We serve breakfast, light lunches and cakes and our aim is to provide simple wholesome food with our baking and locally sourced food. We bake fresh everyday and have a range of bread, bagels, croissants, cakes and lots more available to enjoy in the tearoom or takeaway.
