Food is surprisingly top notch! Menu is changed regularly, never disappoints. Character bar, great place for a few drinks.

Went here for a late dinner during my stay in Bondi Beach. The menu had a lot of enticing options and there are daily specials to consider, also. I opted to order from the special menu, and got the jerk chicken burger with chips. The sandwich was huge and delicious. Prices seemed a bit high to what I expect for... More

I was there on Saturday night with my girlfriend. Thought is going to be busier there. In my opinion very quiet for Staurday night. Place is nice and cozy but kitchen smells there all over the place. I did not have a food tho menu looks nice. The Cocktail list is average, some twisted classics but nothing special.

My partner and I stumbled across this bar when wondering around the area we were staying. We actually went in because the doorman was so friendly (and also the rugby was on - England playing!) The place itself is quite small and you are only able to sit at a table if you are eating. Not much seating space for... More

The greatest bar in the history of the universe. The kind of place that people take up paints to remember, thay inspires poetry, love, and Dolphins shearing poor excuses for sports bras. Food is excellent, highly recommend all the pasta dishes, but the tagliatelle is the boooohhhhhmmmmmmb. Ask for chilli salt (Tajin) on your beer like a pro. Tacocat is... More

The Anchor on Campbell Pde Bondi Beach is home to my absolute favourite fish taco. I used to walk across from my apartment every thursday night for a couple of fish tacos and a couple more beers in this cool restaurant / bar on the strip. It had been over a year since I had been there after relocating back... More

The bar was busy, but the food came out quickly and the service was friendly & fast. Decent beer list and great cocktails. Fish tacos were delicious.

I can't express enough how I never ever want any person to fall victim to the horrifyingly unpleasant experience I had the The Anchor. We walk in to an empty restaurant ask to sit at a table by the window and are simply told "no" by the manager. Another group of three comes in and just sits down this table,... More

Staying in Bondi Beach

Neighbourhood Profile
Bondi Beach
An iconic Australian suburb, Bondi Beach is famous for its fantastic beaches and views. Once the domain of backpackers, hundreds of tourists from all over the world descend en masse to Bondi in December ready to enjoy the "Aussie summer". Bondi Beach boasts impressive ocean views all along the many restaurants and bars on Campbell Parade. Wake up early and take a dip in the surf before walking the scenic stretch from Bondi to Coogee Beach. Stroll through the Saturday organic markets in North Bondi or grab some fish and chips and relax in the grassy area opposite the beach. For more upscale cuisine, head down to Hall Street where a range of new eateries have recently opened. Just make sure to save enough energy for the buzzing nightlife Bondi Beach has to offer.
