What a gem, this restaurant was very busy but service was swift and the food was spot on, had the set menu for €34 with the pick of the menu being the chateaubriand, just superb!

As I have worked nearby for the past 35 years, I often take visitors to this place for lunch and more rarely for dinner. The place is full of memorabilia like old posters for beers and food, plus all kinds of old pub signage. (All of them kept pristine clean and in working order.) The food is very decent pub... More

I've been to the Timbre Poste many times as my sister and her family live in Malakoff. It's become a family tradition to have a meal there at least once when I visit. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The decor is really great fun - signs from bars and pubs, many hand painted crammed into every available space. The... More

Was very happy with the meal we had at this restaurant. Good French cuisine in hearty portions. The set menu was good value too. V limited children's menu was the only let down (would have been good to offer half portions for kids)

Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor - the reviews didn't lie - excellent food - great portion size and all for €30 including drinks and a tip - highly recommended.

Stayed for two nights in Malakoff, France. We ate at the Le Timbre Poste. I can see why they are the number 1 restaurant in Malakoff, food was great, service was good (even though as soon as we ordered our meal, the place filled up. The crème brulee may have been the best I ever had

We had some light dinner at this restaurant. It was just around the corner from our apartement and had pretty good feedback. It sure is a looker! There are lots of french classics on the menu, which was great, because nowadays it's all Pizza, Mussles and fries. We weren't overly hungry, so we just ordered a Pate Plate, a (French)... More

This is a gem hidden in the backstreets, but rest assured the food is fantastic, generous and has an authentic home cooked feel. Salads are massive, and all of the steaks come with a field worth of green beans! Decor is a sea of neon signs and logo's, and it gives the place a a weird charm. Maybe consider somewhere... More

We ate here two night running. There salads are great, tasty and very big and perfect for an evening meal. You have everything you need meat vegetables bread and cheese all served together. We also ate here last year and the food is just as good as last year.
