If you want to try weird and experimental food this is the place to go. It is nicely located in the mountains above Albenga. It is marketed as a Michelin restaurant. The service is excellent, the waiter explained every meal and was really helpful. The wine list is very long and it is easy to find a good, local wine.... More

This was the best meal I have had during my 14 days stay on the Italian and French riviera. Lovely lobster salad and shrimp risotto served with chilled white Italian wine. The risotto was perfectly al dente and the wine was fruity and made a perfect touch to the meal. My kids only had dessert - a chocolate suffle and... More

In Norway we used to have places for wayfarers to stay, rest and eat well. Not so anymore, but I would happily drive all the way from the outskirts of civilization to have an evening here. Hooray for mushrooms!

Well, this place pretends to be high cuisine, and with small compliments before the main dishes it was nice.but time values a lot even on vacation!we were waiting for a menu at least 10 min, than to order food 15 min! They cooked All dishes for very very very long time.it was tasty, but we started to be nervous after waiting more than 40... More

We were very pleased and surprised by the rather sophisticated ambiance and menu selections here. The charm of the historical building was undeniable. The service did not live up to the local standards. We dined with friends. One of our meals was served quite a bit after the others......likely a forgotten order. Rather than offering a sconto for their mistake,... More

A very friendly welcome and a well-appointed, spacious dining room set the tone for a very good meal: the mushroom special, comprising an ever-so-refined, warm, truffled mushroom soft cheese starter, an al dente mushroom risotto and a dish of mushrooms served in 4 different ways: braised, reduced in vinegar, baked in a vine leaf and deep-fried in batter. We let... More

Our tastebuds were tested in the positive sense of the word. The tartare of tuna, the steaktartare, the risotto with mushrooms and the fondue of cheeses were all bursting with flavor. I forgot to tell that I like my breast of duck medium rare. The italian way is to serve it medium well. Service with a smile during the whole... More

Our party of four got a wonderfull ligurian setmenu meal in this familiy driven restaurant, presented by a excellent, knowledgable waiter who knew english very well. Also the athmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. The only thing I wish was different, was being more hungry, so I could take the six course dinner instead of the three course dinner,... More

We had lunch here after a hike in the Castelbianco area whel spending a week in Vesallo, Castebianco. Food and wine was good, while reasonably priced given the pleasant ambience and setting. Friendly service

Great restaurant, excellent service. Look forward to going back! The food was simply breathtaking and the bread was the testiest ever tried: freshly baked, well-served.
