Our friends brought us to Flitch as a special birthday treat - and what a treat it was! The food was complex, immaculately presented, and most importantly, totally delicious and executed to perfection. This place is unbelievable value for the level of quality on offer....More

We have visited the Flitch several times over the past 2-3 months and it has been consistently excellent. After some rocky times before his arrival, Tim Allen has restored its balance and set it on a course which deserves to bring success. A small team...More

You will not be disappointed when visiting this venue, the flavours that Tim gets in to his food were amazing and was beautifully presented. We went with friends who have eaten at lots of Michelin starred restaurants around the world and they both said ‘that...More

We visited for Friday lunch without booking. Plenty of space. Same beautiful surroundings. Bar is now excellent with some lovely cocktails on offer. Service was assiduous. This is now edging towards a more high-end experience, which is rather a shame as we really liked the...More

Fantastic tasty food for meat and fish lovers but poor choice for vegans and vegetarians. A hi end restaurant should be able to cater for vegetarians in 2018 but sadly flitch of bacon fails to do so. Having said that if your crowd is carnivorous...More

Been twice now for dinner in the restaurant area. The food is excellent, in the fine dining category, and good value at that. Service and ambience also very good. The menu choice is limited (which is not a criticism!) so I would not recommmend this...More

We visited with family for Sunday lunch. The food was superb, beautifully presented and tasty. We had a wonderful bottle of wine as well. I only have two gripes: 1. We went with our two toddlers and we didn’t feel particularly welcome (for bringing kids...More

I'm giving this five stars due to the excellent food, that has improved immensely in the last few months, and the proprietors responses to reviews. Yes, they're a little defensive and may come across as arrogant but put into context, a huge amount of work...More
