We went for dinner on a Sunday without reservation, the place was so busy and waited for 5 minutes for a table to become available, which was not an issue. We ordered for starters the Chicken Soup (which was the soup of the day), chicken wings, Lamb Shish, marinated tender cubes of lamb, chargrilled to perfect, Spicy baby chicken, which was overcooked and dry, was not freshly prepared, salad and bread. Overall the food was very good except the baby chicken as everything from the grill is freshly made to order. Would have been prepared to wait as the marinade was good, the service was attentive. Will be back to try other dishes

It was our first visit today,wanting something different, the food was so flavorful, the service was exceptional yet not bothersome & the ambiance was as if we were on a continental holiday. Rest assured we will be returning for another delicious treat. Thank you to all concerned 🙂

Amazing birthday

I begin saying that i don't have to many words to praise the amazing staff, manager and the owner of this place. They made my partner birthday one of the most amazing day we had in a long time, singing a surprise happy birthday song with lights closed, bringing cake from the house, a bottle of wine and some of the amazing dishes. We love you, your service, the fact that we found you and above all, your perfect dishes, for which we stil coming back every time :X:X

Very disappointed. We visited this restaurant for the first time on December 14th for our daughters birthday and had excellent food and fantastic service, so we decided to book for New Year’s Eve. Last night we experienced terrible service. The food was barely mediocre, one of my daughters was left without her meal and we had to remind the staff. To top it off we were charged £35 each for two adults and two children, we felt harassed to order and unwelcome. I wouldn’t have minded paying this set price if I hadn’t heard the manager offering other people who walked in, the option of having a set meal or just ordering from the menu. I was told I had no choice but to pay £35 a head?? My daughter of 10 only managed to eat half of her meal, by this time we all just wanted to go home. I think scum would have been treated better. Felt sorry for some of the waiting staff. This ruined our New Year’s Eve.

Hi there, first of all we wish you a very happy new year. Second of all, in regards to the complaint from yourselves, we are very sorry that you were not happy with the service. However, prior to booking, the manager rang and spoke to all customers and discussed with them the price and timings, as it was new year, our staff were well aware that it would be very busy. The walk in customers were informed that they had to pay £35 and a few people walked away, other regular customers also asked to order from the main menu, however having spoken to them they did agree to the price. It was a set price on the day that everyone paid. As we do not like to leave our customers disappointed, we would like for you to join us again, with the a complimentary main course meal (just show this message to the manager). Once again, I apologise for any inconvenience caused, I hope the rest of your year is joyous. Thank you!

Eat out to help out mania

Birmingham was a half way point to meet with a friend I hadn't met in a while. We were searching for Turkish restaurants in Birmingham and wanted to avoid areas such as Ladypool, Coventry and soho Road. We knew we would be spending more time in queues than actually eating in due to the Sunak 50% off scheme. Mount Nemrut had good reviews on Trip Advisor, but I felt was a tad under prepared for the amount of Diners queuing outside. When we finally got into the restaurant after waiting outside for 30 mins, we were placed right next to the bar. The Waiters and Waitresses seemed very busy and unfortunately had ran out of lahmacun (we ate around 19:30) which was disappointing. I ordered the mixed grill which was very tasty, however had to keep reminding the waitress to bring out our chips and chilli sauce. When I asked for lemonade I was presented with 7up. All in all the food was light and tasty, however service could have been better as I felt that I had to constantly remind the waitress to bring out the chips.

Amazing! Great food and staff!

Returned to this restaurant for the second time after about a year, moved out of the area since visiting last but after driving past during the week my partner and I agreed that we needed to return ASAP so did tonight! We booked a table a few hours earlier and they said no problem. The restaurant was pretty busy but we arrived and had a warm welcome and were quickly seated. Ordered drinks, starters and main. Drinks arrived promptly followed by complimentary bread, olives and dips. Starters next which were absolutely beautiful, Cacik and Goats Cheese with Honey was to die for. Mains were also amazing, Yogurt Chicken Beyti and Grilled Kofte. Cooked to perfection and extremely generous portions for a great price. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly, chefs did an amazing job. Would seriously recommend!

Went for a midweek date night with my partner , had a nice atmopshere really liked the authentic music . Staff are a friendy feels like a nice little family run business . Food was amazing we got the special for two , everything had a beautiful charcoal taste and meat still juicy. Tasted fresh and olives served at the start with salad you could tell were good quality. Will definitely be coming back. Have been to Turkey before next time we visit here we will try their turkish coffee :)

A new family favourite

Visited for the first time with my family last night and will definitely be back. The staff are friendly and service is good with a lovely ambience. We filled up so much on the complimentary salad bread and dips and then starters that we didn’t leave much room for our mains! I don’t eat meat but my son was impressed by the mixed grill. If you are vegan you will struggle though there are salads marked as vegan. (It’s a Turkish grill so meat of course is main focus) Myself and daughter chose vegetable moussaka which was lovely and a vegetable stew (ok) so vegetarians are catered for. This place will definitely become a favourite for future family outings

A very nice well organised restaurant with amazing customer service and mouth watering foods. The staff are very polite and well organised and even through the busiest times the offer excellent service and manage in a way that every visitor gets a taste of their heavenly food. All food is well prepared and cooked very well. You get an experience as if you’re eating in an Istanbul or Adana restaurant. We visited as a family and they’re were able to fulfill all family member’s appetite. I would recommend this restaurant.

Authentic Turkish food and atmosphere.

If you've ever been on holiday to Turkey and you remember that time when you and your friends ate at that great restaurant and had an amazing time........this is the place that will bring those memories back. The smell from the grill on your way inside is mouth watering. The welcome is warm and the staff were lovely. The cheapest house white was a quality bottle of wine and not your usual cheap plonk. There is a huge choice of dishes on the menu and the food was just amazing! You get plenty of it too, we were stuffed! The Turkish music and the friendly owner made it a wonderful authentic Turkish dining experience. We would have stayed longer, but because of the government rules we left at 10pm. I could have stayed there all night. Great place!

Todays meal was excellent as always. My usual drinks order arrived without me having to ask for it as the waitress knew what I usually order. The lamb chops were suculent as well as being well cooked with crispy fat, just as I like them. Very kind and helpful staff making it a very pleasent atmosphere. One of my favourite places to eat.

A little bit of Turkey. 5 of us from the same family visited yesterday 3 meat eaters and 2 vegetarians. It’s a good menu with plenty of options for vegetarians. I chose a mixed grill which came with 2 types of Rice. I also as another guest did ordered a side of chips. One of the vegetarians ordered a vegetable grill and the other ordered sea bass. All the food was excellent and and well presented. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that they forgot our side orders of fries. Not hugely important but it took a long time to get their attention to remind them so we ended up with 2 side orders of fries as we had finished our meal. We also would of ordered another round of drinks if the server would of been over during our meal. I would go again to this restaurant and definitely recommend you try it for yourselves.

Highly recommend - some of the best Turkish food in the Midlands

Fantastic food, very tender meats and great taste. I often get a takeaway but dined in a few weeks ago...would highly recommend this place; staff are very welcoming and friendly; internal setting is also warm and homely. Staff are also very friendly and welcoming.

Always amazing take-out

I get a takeaway from Mount Nemrut every 2-3 weeks and it is (without fail) always superb. I usually order the chicken or lamb Shish Kebabs. Ingredients are fresh, food is tasty and cooked perfectly and portions are always a decent size. The staff are always amazing and nothing is a problem. I feel fortunate to have the place on my doorstep. Keep up the great wok!

Excellent Turkish Restaurant

I visited this great restaurant with my family and a couple of friends. I had not realised thta this has been around for more than 1 year now. Place was recommended by some friends from the GYM. They were raving about the food here. We were not disappointed. We received a very warm welcome from the owner/manager Deniz and his staff. The menu is extensive and we managed to order quite a few plates and shared many dishes. They have a good wine list too. Food was out of this world and very fresh. We will certainly come again to try other dishes. We highly recommned this hidden gem which is a welcome addition to the burgeoning restaurant scene in Bimringham. So handy for people in Smethwick/Bearwood/ Harbone/ Handsworth and Edgbaston. It is certainly worth a travel to those who are little further away. There is plenty of off road parking and deciated parking in the church opposite.
