I've been here three times usually as a meeting place for visiting family for lunch. The food has always been of good quality and enjoyed by all including my Vegan daughter. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Worth a visit.

Great location, pretty inside and great service! Very welcoming staff, kind and loved the Turkish tea! We had their mixed grill and it was so much food on one plate for just £20, it was great all the variety of meat, and rice and everything...else it was so good! And the Ruskin bread given as well was so tasty! Would definitely recommend people to go and eat inside there, it’s great! They also offer takeaway service but definitely recommend sitting inside to get that full essence of the culture aswell, which is stunning.More
Four of us went last night 18.00. Quite early. Quirky restaraunt, plenty of atmosphere. The aroma greets you, fantastic. Gets you taste buds tingling. We all opted for different starters and mains. All were delicious. Mixed kebabs, quail, halloumi served with rice and Bulgaria wheat....So so tasty. Accompanied with wine, eyes, raki, tea and coffee. Service was great, nothing seemed to much. Not cheap, but things that are good , come at a premium. All in all a great night. We all said we would go back and sample more from this delicious menu. Thank you to all at Mount Nemrut Bearwood.More
We ordered starters, mains, beer, and wine. We tried to order Tuburg larger but were told they only had the Turkish equivalent which is a poor larger.(£5.50 - 500ml) Before our starters arrived we were brought bread and salad. Our starter came pretty quick goats cheese with honey...(£8) which was tasty but not much for the price of the food. Our mains came with kebab chicken and a plate full of rice and couscous £16)and lamb Kleftiko which was pretty poor (£19). We ordered Chianti wine at (£8 per glass) which we don't believe was Chianti also ended up the sediment at the end. All in all very poor meal would not recommend and wouldn't go back.More
Best restaurant everyone should go down and have the food amazing customer service I definitely recommend it
Always pleasant staff, good value and we never feel bloated after eating there. We are regulars now.
The food and a Turkish wine they recommended were all excellent. We had the meal for 3/4 and it was plenty for the 4 or us. The lamb, kebabs and chicken were really tasty. The host and staff were excellent, haven’t felt that welcome in...a restaurant for a while. Will definitely return, recommended!!More
It's a great place to experience authentic Turkish cuisine. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the service is top-notch. Be sure to try the lamb kebab.
Mount Nemrut is a hidden gem in Bearwood and it specialises in top quality authentic genuine Turkish cuisine. The Mixed grill is generous in portion and a real treat! It is consists of succulent pieces lamb and chicken, kebabs and rice. The Chicken delight is...mouth watering and cooked in a lovely sauce. All the meals are accompanied by flat bread, freshly made salad and tasty sauces. For starters, the delicious lentil soup is the perfect choice and to die for! Turkish tea is refreshing to have to end the lovely meal. Although, the restaurant is busy, an attentive, competent, efficient and high standard of service is offered by Sultana in a pleasant environment. Strongly recommended for a great Turkish memorable experienceMore
First time in the restaurant as I visited Birmingham, met with friends. good spot for a large group, we ordered the biggest platter and came with plenty of juicy meat. Were able to purchase bottles of alcohol for the table which was nice and at...a reasonable price. Good, friendly atmosphere and the staff were polite and always made sure we had everything we needed. Owner even came by and asked if we was all good. Got to love a good family run business.More
Food is good, but prices have risen over 40% in the last 4 months. Price gouging at its finest. And they charge £2 to swap out rice for fried potatoes, ridiculous. So my adana kebab normally £12.95, was £16.95 plus £2 to change the rice...to boiled potatoes, so £18.95. you work it out, scandalous.More
A group of us visited the restaurant over the festive season following good reviews etc. This could not have been further from the truth. Firstly the communication was poor due to language barriers with the staff. Secondly the food was BLAND and over cooked. The...chicken which was supposedly pan-fried was very dry and lukewarm. The overall prices in my opinion were dear for the quality of food served which was below standard. I would not recommend this restaurant.More
We almost went for a starter, but I recalled reviews and the complimentary salad, olives, dips and lovely warm flatbread would have easily constituted an adequate lunch for us!! I wasn't expecting to see quail on a Turkish menu - but there it was. And...my brace of quail were perfectly spatchcocked and grilled. The Mem had the lamb stuffed aubergine. Everything was good - nice ambience - good service - reasonable prices, decent wine, great coffee. Something to look forward to after plodding through the dreaded DIY for the offspring. We'll be back !More
Food was average which is fine. What really upset us was the customer service provided when things aren't right. My partner alerted the waitress about hair in his food as soon as he had seen it. The hair is not the same colour of ours...so we were sure it is not ours. The waitress was rude. She did not apologise at first. She asked why my partner ate his food and not told her there is hair until now. The implication was like it was his fault and as if he wanted to get a free meal. He literally had just seen the hair and told me. We weren't even upset at first but the attitude was really what off putting. She went away coming back saying she would give us a discount and still asked why my partner had eaten the food and not told her earlier. The tone was very much blaming us. We are baffled by her behaviours. We paid and leave straight away. This was the worst customer service I've ever encountered. We will never come back.More
Tried on the spur of the moment, needed something for dinner and fancied something a bit different. Quite a little gem. Olives, bread and dips, and between us we had halloumi, baked goats cheese with honey on beetroot, mixed grill, lamb main course, Turkish rice...pudding, and inevitably Baclava. Couldn't fault any of it. Proper food, cooked on a proper grill, good service and perfectly reasonable prices. If you are North of Birmingham and looking for somewhere to eat, highly recommended.More
