This is my favorite restaurant in Saint Leu. The place is absolutely beautiful, the owners do everything for you to feel confortable. The menu is changing quite often but quality remain at the top. Food is fresh and seasonal. 10 years have passed and I’m...still amazed and surprised. Prices are correct according to the quality of food and the cooking skills of the owners. Plates are generous with a stunning visual. Each dishes will give you a lot of different flavors. Congratulations to the owners who cook and receive you with there heart.More

Walking into this Restaurant you feel you are walking into someone’s garden with furnishings. There is a huge tree going through the middle of it and all around are tables and chairs. There is material on part of the ceiling and some of the walls...and there are lots of quirky bit and pieces around. It is truly amazing and has a lovely feel. Husband and wife team who work so hard running this place are just great and although they are busy they make time for everyone. The menu is on boards, everything is freshly cooked and.presented beautifully and just utterly delicious. If you get the chance to have pasta do because it is his speciality and probably the best I have ever eaten outside Italy. Sauces are unctuous, vegetables cooked with a twist and such good garlic potato. Sadly we couldn’t manage dessert. We had the best time. Everyone should experience this wonderful place.More

This restaurant is extraordinary not only for its spectacular ambiance (half open ceiling with real trees inside), but also for the uncommon menues and an outstanding service! Even though we were never there, the patron himself helped me out the first time I wanted to...eat there, as there was no table left. So he phoned himself to some other restaurants to find me a table ... what a service!!! A few days later, we (family with six year old) finally got our places and we were absolutely confirmed in the reviews this restaurant already had. The filet de boeuf and the duo de mignon were absolutely fabulous, as were the moelleux au chocolat and the raspberry crumble. The assorted flavours were uncommon, but exceptionnaly well matching. One very little bemol: please don't serve Lipton for tea, if you are at such high gastronomic level! This is one of my absolute favourite places in the Reunion, once for the outstanding service and also for the creative menues. To recommend without ANY hesitation.More

This place has an absolutely surreal ambience with bright, quirky and whimsical decor. I felt like Alice in "Asian" Wonderland when I stepped inside. After my beer was served, a lady popped in and asked if it was fresh(cold?). When I said it's alright, she...felt the bottle and decided it wasn't fresh(cold) enough and she brought me a new 'very cold' one. My dinner Salmon Mille-feuille was beautifully presented and had rich, excellent flavor. The same lady came back and helped me decide on dessert. I told her that I really wanted to try dessert but I was pretty full. Then she kindly offered to prepare her Grandma's Russian dessert in smaller size for me - brilliant. And it was just PERFECT! Her quick wit with flexibility is greatly appreciated. If you have a chance, take a walk inside and look around; each dining room is decorated with different theme and make sure you visit the restroom as well. This place is amazing! I only wish they accept credit card - but such a small price to pay for such priceless experience. Bravo+MerciMore

Gastronomic cuisine in an absolutely stunning setting! Whilst we were there, Saint-Leu experienced a power-cut, but this did not hinder the charming staffs ability to serve us a truly gastronomic dinner by candle-light served by staff with head-torches. The food was excellent. The service was...outstanding and the setting under tropical plants, with fine art and quirky decor made for a fabulous experience.More

Really great food served in a quirky "courtyard" with greenery and art everywhere. Service very friendly and the communication worked in spite of the lack of a common language. As with many good establishments, a tad expensive for those traveling with ZAR.

Great French cuisine with a fru-fru edge, run by a husband and wife team. Walk down a little alley and enter into a surprise interior garden, with soft lights and Chinese umbrellas setting the mood. We felt the service was a touch slow and the...food a bit expensive. Bookings essential. Cash only.More

The restaurant is on the main road but the entrance is tucked away in an alley. The setting is cosy. Like 99% of the restaurants in la Reunion, there is no air-conditioning. There are a lot of fans around though. The food is above average...and the portion is large. The service is friendly and the chef (but not the waiting staff) speaks good English. But be prepared to decipher the French menu on your own. Accept cash only.More
