We always come to this region bacause its home to many Eel restaurants. Eel is a very tasty fish and a specialty among many of the restaurant in this area. You can eat it elswhere in Belgium, but it needs to be fresh in order to be good. The restaurant is a nice bright place and looks out on the... More

This restaurant has a wonderful position on the Scheldt river with extensive seating outside. It is either new or it has had a designer refit. The interior is cool, grey, slightly Scandinavian, and very sophisticated for the area. So all looked rather promising, if a little out of place. This is a popular restaurant where you can eat "Paling" (eel), a typical Flemish dish. Portions are huge but quality is poor and sofistication unexistend.

If you like good Fish, this is the place to be and good portions(is also important). Very nice view at the Schelde. Their speciality is "Paling in't Groen". Love to go there back, it's splendid!
