Been here a few times now and always had such a warm welcome, and not just because of the wonderful fire. The beers have been tip top, staff great, wonderful atmosphere and fantastic friendly staff. If all pubs were this good they would always be busy. You may have to wait a few more minutes for your food but that's... More

This is the real thing. A proper pub, owned by the community, but run by volunteers in a very professional way. You don't have to make any concessions here! The beer is perfectly kept, the food is proper pub grub and you get a warm welcome. It's the perfect pub.

Booked a table for 10 and a high chair for a birthday lunch. Really nice selection to choose from, even for a person with an egg allergy. We were not rushed and made very welcome. Portions were very good and everything was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again.

We locals love this pub- a good day out is a walk through the quiet village peeping at the gardens of the beautiful houses then along Upton Dyke admiring the boats, along the river Bure to the Black Mill counting the nesting swans and complete the circle back to the pub for well earned refreshments. They are well used to... More

We booked as we know how busy The White Horse can be and what a lovely surprise to see a slate with our reservation plus our dog, photo attached. As requested we were sat away from the lovely roaring fire with room for our dog. Had done a long walk that morning so we were hungry, my husband had Hunters... More

We booked quite last minute and there were 10 of us. We ate in the bar as there was an event on in the part where apparently we should have sat. Well this didn't matter, in fact I think it was probably better sitting in the bar. Our order was taken promptly and all the meals came out together. I... More

Me and my other half spent last week on the Norfolk Broads and found ourselves stranded in Storm Doris....we called the White Horse for assistance and they couldn't of been more helpful. Once moored up (and on dry land!) we went to the pub which was a lovely village pub with a lovely open fire. The staff were unbelievably friendly... More

4 adults and 2 children (aged 11 and 7) visited for an evening meal. Have lost count how many times we have been but the food and service are consistently excellent. Lots of friendly locals as this is community owned (as is the shop next door).
