Ordered our food only to be told that 2 dishes didn’t have all the ingredients, choose something else, we ordered another pint beer. We waited at least 10 minutes! So I went to the bar to get another beer only to see two staff members...More

Myself and my family regularly went to The Swan for Sunday Lunch and it was one of our favourite places to eat. On two occasions now (we had to go again and try, in case they’d had an off day previously)and left not happy at...More

My party of three had two Sunday Roast Beef meals and a fish and chips. Everyone enjoyed the meal immensely but none of the portions were particularly large. I could have eaten this twice over. The beef was absolutely superb. The worst part - the...More

Wasn’t intending to eat but the pint of Gem was so nice I got tempted by a ploughman’s lunch. Really shouldn’t have bothered. £10.95....cheap, tasteless supermarket processed cheddar, unforgivable to serve such poor cheese at that price. Sweet, bland chutney and a bit of apparently...More

My wife and I popped in having passed this pub many, many times. The staff were very friendly and the food, whilst not cheap, was very tasty and beautifully presented. We were also particularly taken with the pile of trivial pursuit cards that were on...More

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. For guests eating outside due to the sheer numbers we use sachets of ketchup but we’ve never had a complaint about the taste before. Otherwise our ketchup is Heinz. The play area slide was unfortunately broken...More

Hi sorry for the delay I have been away. It would be better to give them a call to check if they have a menu for the evening of the 6th March. Tel. 0117 9323101 is the direct line.

The Swan is a family-friendly country pub with a modern face and a traditional heart. The smart, fresh interior complements the building's original character, while a large car park, pretty garden and children's play area add to the attractions outdoors. If you’re looking for a country pub between Bath and Bristol that’s just a short hop from either city, you can’t do better than The Swan. Sitting beneath the steeply sloping hills that run up to Lansdown, The Swan looks out at willow-edged fields with the River Avon meandering by in the distance. (We’re sure you get the idea, it really is a lovely spot!)
