Friendly staff who can speak English. Food is delicious. I removed a star as it is a bit pricey and the service is slow at peak times. The restaurant is popular with the locals for lunch. It closes early - 5pm.

A charming cafe we stumbled upon by accident. The french toast and waffles were great and the kids loved the slushies.

We came here for breakfast - lots of choice of cold drinks, smoothies ice tea etc. and a few breakfast options. We both went for waffles which were tasty and very filling.

This cafe serves delicious, fresh food and drinks in a comfortable environment. We visited Phrae in mid-Feb, and this cafe stayed open until 7pm. We were visiting the town for 6 days and ate here every night as we loved the salads and curries. The atmosphere was very calm even though it is situated on the busiest crossroad in a... More

Came across the Gingerbread House by chance having booked into a dreadful place down the road, didn't have to think twice about moving!!. Small artistically furnished rooms with very comfortable beds and modern bathroom. Walking distance to the old town and markets. Good choice of breakfasts. Had fruit salad which was fresh and delicious. Staff very friendly and professional. Would... More

Beautiful restaurant and good taste. Have room to stay upstairs. Coffee is also good. Actually not expensive believe me.

Located close to the southeast entrance to the old city, Gingerbread House is perfect for a spot of refreshment. We didn't eat here, but we did drop by for a drink on a couple of occasions.

Old style decorated coffee shop, good taste of coffee. They also have breakfast menu. I've been parking in the police station.

The place is really nice. The style, furnitures and decoration are great. I hade a northern style curry with pork meat. It tasted good but it was a very small portion. Then I had a cappuccino that tasted good. There is wifi. Overall the place is very nice and relaxing. But also expensive compared to other restaurants in Phrae.

Great coffee and nice atmosphere. Excellent for breakfast, a sweet snack or just coffee. Free WiFi and friendly service. Perhaps slightly overpriced if you are on a tight budget but still worthwhile.
