we called for a drink before we checked into our week-end accommodation, nice warm friendly atmosphere, lovely outdoor space, food looked lovely, be nice to return and dine.

Midweek lunch of ham and steak sandwiches was excellent. Friendly efficient service and sitting outside in the courtyard was a lovely spot. Well kept and tidy - this is an ideal country pub. Well worth trying.

Stopped in for a drink one evening, place was filled mostly with locals. Food appears to be very good. Guinness wasn't very good but could be down to low turn over.

4 of us dined here one Saturday evening in May. We had a range of food between us and it was all very good. Suggest you book a table in advance for weekends as this is a popular place. Service was on the slow side...More

Excellent food and service. Friendly atmosphere in this village pub location. Home cooked food with specials board. Recommended by the caravan site we stayed at but the beef Stroganoff and Baker's ploughman's were fantastic. Wish we had more room. Will be going back sometime soon.

Speechless - well almost. Without doubt the best burger I have ever eaten. We dropped in without booking having checked out the reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed in any way. Great beer, great landlord and great burgers. Absolutely awesome!

We visited for lunch here at the end of March. The landlord gave us a warm welcome and we chose a main course each from the bar menu whilst supping our beers and were then shown to our table in the restaurant. The food was...More

Hi. You're asking a reviewer not the owners! But I believe the answer is still yes. My good lady and I are dog trainers and owners; as such we always patronise dog-friendly places and it was the reason we sought them out... More

I think you need to ask the Baker's Arms; I just wrote a review after we went there! I'm more than happy to cook you an omelette though... ;)

A two-bar roadside pub and eatery dating from the 17th century with a large stone-built beer garden added to the rear. To the left is a lounge with a separate restaurant offering great traditional British food made with fresh local ingredients. This includes regularly updated specials, high quality steaks, a fish of the day, vegetarian options and our famous homemade burgers. The meals feature home-baked bread from the bakery added to the front of the premise. The Baker's Arms has a fantastic public bar to the right side of the building nicknamed "the snug" offering a games room with a pool table and darts board. The public house also has a large stone-based beer garden area and a good deal of off-road parking. The baker's can be considered a green pub due to its installed ground-source central heating system which is supplemented by two wood-burners to offer a warm and friendly feel.
