There's a reason London continues to surprise even those who've called it home for years. Long before there were Ubers, London cabbies took a test called “The Knowledge.” Imagine a Bar exam for cabbies that takes three years to prepare for and covers every corner of this 2,000-year-old city. The fact that it still exists is why I can safely say, despite being a local, I'll never completely know the city.
