You may wish to rent first to see if you really like the set-up. Check this site for rentals and if you can use the AARP program direct or thru a family member or friend you can save an additional 35% on rentals.

So many people now have rentals out there, why tie yourself to a timeshare? I have owned a timeshare since 1994, but would never buy one with today's possibilities. Price equals out about the same, from what we have rented.

Look at E-Bay for time shares.....

You can often pick them up for a steal

but before bidding, be sure you know maintenance costs (i.e. yearly costs)
