Visit to Queenstown end May 2014

I am planning to go to Queenstown at end of May and wanted to know:

1) how cold it would be?

2) are there are things to do their for non-skiers?

Hi the end of May will be getting cold maybe snow if you are lucky (well the skifields will be hoping for snow). Expect 8 to 12 degrees Celsius or 46 to 54 degrees Farenheit. Definitely bring sweaters and jacket. Queenstown is a mecca for things to do rain, snow or sunshine. It is big on adventure tourism so if the skifields haven't opened there will be LOTS for you to do. Hiring a car is another option as there is heaps to see and do nearby. Have a wonderful time!

There are heaps to do for non-skiers.

Lots of tramping, a boat cruise across Lake Wakatipu, adventure things like the giant swing, bungee jumping, sight seeing.
