Krabi -Scandinavian airports as an alternative to Glasgow

Have flown twice to Krabi/Phuket from Glasgow via London/ BKK. Destination Koh Lanta.Going back in early March and the flight is now getting long and expensive from Glasgow.

Met scandinavian people in Ko Lanta who go by charter from cities in Norway/Sweden/ Denmark direct to krabi or phuket using mostly TUI. have tried to get info on TUI Scandinavian sites but, even with translation I am having bother navigating the sites.

Anybody out there who has tried the UK/Scandinavia/Krabi or Phuket route or better still is there an airline 'expert' out there who can offer good advice.?

In March I am looking at about £850 pp flying with Thai +Glasgow add ons

would love to go back to Koh Lanta but need help here!

Can't help you on this specific, but have often looked for innovative routings such as this - invariably they turn out either not to save anything, or not enough to justify the hassle.

Seeing as you've had no response here, though, maybe try posting on the appropriate destination forum.

Fritidsresor will sell you a start packet (return flights plus 1 night BB) from Stockholm to Phuket - 2 weeks for approx. GBP 725. Flight on Corsair 747-400 sardine tin.
